SwimModSponges Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Is it still a numismatist when it's paper money or is that just for coins?

LoLJackass Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 I wouldn't mind having those Louisiana bills...How did you acquire these
katt_goddess Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Does Packard know you've been stealing from his mattress stash? But serious time, those are pretty neat. Most older bills, especially 'dead' ones like the Confederate ones, just ended up as so much paper pulp in the end. 3
Seight Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 I bet if you go deep enough into MS/AL they might still take them. 1

Doom Metal Alchemist Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 "Confederate States America"? Did they decide "of" is a word only used by yankee bastards?

midnight Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Nice find. There is an old Civil War fort about an hour away, and they used to sell Confederate money. I have some somewhere. I collect coins mostly, and not a huge collector, but I have some from all over the world. 1
