I've never heard that in my life.

My mom used to make the best cornbread ever. Legit old fashioned corn bread in a cast iron skillet. I've never had corn bread that good.

Ive always made it from jiffy but we still call it cornbread *shrug*

My mom never used jiffy i think. She made it from scratch. She experimented too. She could make cornbread that was almost cake and cornbread with cheese and jalapenos in it. That was bomb with chili.

Benign validation for being ignored for making a retarded comment in the other thread.

I was wavering between that and "subtle" provocation.

Only cornbread made from Jiffy mix. Otherwise, cornbread is cornbread.

To add to this, we’ve often used Jiffy in recipes that weren’t corn bread. Like as a topping for chili pie or a corn casserole.

Oh, fuggs, why? smh

Because she's never had actual, factual cornbread, only Jiffy bread. She's mad for a comment that put her in her place in a separate thread.
