Whaddya think? 🏍

Good now, or better in the past? I won't vote, but I think whoever gets the shows for Toonami is bitchmade and the one or two outcast, edgy alpha(s) over there went in on some Solid Snake shit and used the Toonami bank account to buy Parasyte, Hellsing Ultimate, and Gundam Unicorn, which are all insanely revered and loved.

I don't know where to vote, but it I liked it when Space Ghost, Brak Show, Harvey Birdman, and a lot of that other stuff was still being played rather than following the rest of cable into block programming. It's the dumbest possible type of programming because people can create their own blocks now. But maybe ratings were dipping because the average person can't rewatch old shows when the opportunity to rewatch other old shows was available. If I remember correctly, the block didn't used to repeat. The later you were up the weirder shit you saw. I really dislike popular society. It's so boring.

Basically 2004-2006.

Ditto. The summer '04 Tokyo and ACTN bumps were my adolescent jam, and I have fond memories of the graveyard shift bumpers too, The Dawn is Your Enemy included. Weird how I was never disturbed by that or the Williams Street vanity plate.

And Christina Miller's just been making it worse, if the endless plethora of Teen Titans GO! reruns is any indication.

Yeah, even though I stopped watching Cartoon Network years ago, I have read some articles and watched YouTube vlogs about her making Cartoon Network worse.

I can't pick a definitive favorite, as I have fond memories and nostalgia for each era. I'm sure that when the current one passes and I get cable again, I'll miss this one as well.

SOLID points go to the 2004-2007 era though. All of the trippy and cool bumps that would appear on Saturdays during the anime block are still burned into my mind to this day.
