the farthest I've ever traveled is two 3 hour car trips to either New York or PA

neither of which were very great

The coolest for my is flying in a plane when you're in the clouds. No sight has ever matched that for me.

The least coolest was the army of business people that there's no end of during peak pedestrian traffic hours of Times Square. It was suffocating to just look at so many people at one time. New York had some cool stuff, but I avoided talking to anyone for like a week after getting back to Georgia.

One of the coolest places: Cheonggyecheon -- Seoul, South Korea

Least favorite:

Probably a toss-up for many of the small towns with less than 400 people with them in Washington state. Lots of them are beautiful, but some of them are flat and boring.

Coolest place I've been is Knotts Berry Farm in California. It has some dope rollercoasters. Also it's in Los Angeles, which, you know... fuck yeah.

"Least cool" I think technically would have to be Battle Lake in Minnesota, but if you like fishing, which I do, it's a fun spot.

ellwood beach in santa barbara is my favorite place. its on the far north side of town. very secluded locals beach. no parking. you have to walk like 15 mins of trails from the street. my first apt in CA was right next to the trail so id go down there, lay out, and read. sometimes early on weekdays i wouldnt see another person til noon. you can see the mountains from the trails on the mesa and theres a monarch butterfly congregation spot. i want to live there again someday

I saw Hilo bay, Big Island, Hawaii, from 300 feet up, and, hmmm, I've seen so many crappy things... Oh, I saw beautiful Leavenworth, Kansas. Mainly as viewed from the alleys empty lots.

The town, not the Federal Prison.

Can't call favorite, but a good one was Rudesheim.

Least favorite, driving into Kansas on eastbound I-70. After an hour and a half I started wondering if there was anything at all in Kansas. There were no exits. Went northbound on the first state highway I could find.

jesus. i've driven that stretch waaay too many times. it's hell.

the only worse stretch i've driven was I-90 east-west through south dakota.

you can go for like a half hour without even seeing another car. nothing but prairie grass.
