nameraka Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 i especially like their knockoff redbull. tastes pretty much the same for about half the price.
Naraku4656 Posted March 12, 2018 Author Posted March 12, 2018 most of the stuff there is pretty much the same as brand name. i think there's only a few things there which i just won't buy.
mochi Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 isn't Aldi the store where you have to buy a shopping cart and everything is sold in Bulk?
bnmjy Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Their produce is pretty good. If they don't have something I want I normally just go to Walmart.

They have decent prices on a lot of things, but they don't have a huge variety. BUT they pay their employees well and actually seem to give a shit about them, unlike every other grocery store chain in the country, who would barely bother to learn the names of their cashiers, much less the people who worked for them for years

Working somewhere where you aren't treated like a number or a commodity makes you actually care about your job and the place you work.

They charge for bags to incentivize you to invest in reusable shopping bags. 1

Ah see....I used to wonder about your posts. You just don't know anything and your ability to assess a situation for what it actually is complete shit. It's none of those things unless you think getting your quarter back after you shop is a purchase and you consider 2 dozen eggs, bulk.
DragonSinger Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 At my store, someone will always pass forward the cart that a person was too lazy to get their quarter back from, so we don't have to go through the drama of inserting a coin to unlock one.

I do that all the time because after bagging, loading, transporting, and unloading your own groceries, that trip back for a quarter just seems like a huge fuck it. Even if the person is way across the parking lot, I just yell "NEED A CART" and they'll come get it.
