What else do you put on your sandwich? I don't do much other than the bread and the meat, so two slices is like a waste of time.

2 slices?

That is not enough meat.

A pound of turkey should make about four flatbread sandwich rolls with cheese and mayo.

I run my ass off and burn a lot of callories.

Ideal lunches consist of a wrap, handful of wheat thins, half an orange, and celery/carrot sticks.

im glad....im really happy for you....but this is an argument about deli meat portions

You said i ate "too much food" when i descibed meat proportions, thereby opening up the conversation to other food items eaten alongside said deli meat.

Checkmate.

ah see correction....i never said 'YOU' ate too much food...

i mean, i want to actually taste the meat on the sandwich

the meat is the whole purpose of the sandwich, anything else is just accoutrements

but the accouterments bring out the flavor of the meat

Stillthe point remains, i personally eat an amount of food you deem as too much.

Sammich semantics.

and i apparently only mean you?

so does shaving the meat thin and putting more than two slices on

it just seems like too much....6oz....is too much fucking meat...given what you pay for it....and its consumption....no...its WAY too much

I was the individual quoted.

yes....cause i was talking to you....but i didnt accuse you of eating too much....i merely stated that 1/4 pound of deli meat was too much food....but since you wanna take it personally...

I don't want to take it personally; I'm just debating sammiches because there's nothing better to talk about now.

For a grilled cheese yeah

On a turkey sandwich you gotta have that bird bulging out the sides

I probably put about 4oz on a sandwich, along with a couple slices of cheese, mayo and if I'm feeling it - bacon and avocado.

Then again I'm also 6'5" and ~260 so a 1000 calorie lunch is pretty norm.

'Merica.

No one has an idea what proportions are. If they aren't testing their gag reflex on a wad of sandwich meats, they don't feel manly.

Hey now, im going to defend my amount of meat.

Like i said, i do wraps because i dont like bread, and bread ads a lot of mass to a sammich.

Nothing wrong with replacing that mass with more turkey.

Don’t worry. I have a few of those.

I still fucking contest that you don’t need to eat like that....I worried you’ll be found fat, dead, covered in bacon grease
