pail Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Three of my personal favorites are banana chips. Not the bland plantain chips, the sugar coated baked banana chips. I also enjoy pecans mixed with raisins. And blueberries.
pail Posted October 14, 2017 Author Posted October 14, 2017 Trail mix, chocolate covered pretzels, nachos I like to have trail mix every once in awhile. The pretzels and nachos, not so much.

Still Me Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 green grapes...god I could eat them all day everyday
Ginguy Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Apples and cheese, that's a new one to me. As forthe pears, are walking blue cheese dressing or blue cheese chunks> Apples and cheese is a total northern midwest thing. Ask Mewn[/member] I usually use a crumbled blue cheese, something like a Gorgonzola. Nothing super funky, stick with the mild side.
pail Posted October 14, 2017 Author Posted October 14, 2017 green grapes...god I could eat them all day everyday I like green grapes, too. But I prefer red grapes over green, for whatever reason.

pail Posted October 14, 2017 Author Posted October 14, 2017 You put cream cheese on dried beef and then wrap it around a pickle Hmm. Sounds like Midwestern sushi or something.

Peanut butter and apples are pretty good though.

I lived in Chicago for 38 years, and even as the natural enemy of Wisconsin we knew that apples and cheddar cheese was a Wisconsin thing and a darn fine one as well.

Ginguy Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 I've lived in the Midwest my entire life and I've never heard of this That's crazy, but then again I never heard of tenderloins until I moved to Indiana so.... Well, the point is, it is a darn fine combination, like peanut butter and jelly, so people should take this new to them information and enjoy it.

katt_goddess Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Fatty nom-nom treat times? Cool Ranch Doritos with French onion dip. Otherwise, pieces of cheese, honeycomb, dry cereal, those cheap icee-pops.
blueraven1999 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 What? I lived in Chicago for 38 years, and even as the natural enemy of Wisconsin we knew that apples and cheddar cheese was a Wisconsin thing and a darn fine one as well. I think that's only true for part of Wisconsin. I've lived in Brookfield since 1981 and I've never seen anyone eat apples and cheddar cheese. We do love our cheese here, but I personally think bratwurst is better.
