Zenigundam Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 A lot of UEMBers have PM'ed me and, quite frankly, I failed to appear in court on the 11th for the three tickets (driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, and having a broken mirror). ANYWAY... I got a letter in the mail asking me to appear for the same s--- on October 2nd, and I've already request an early exit from my job that day to make it to court, but I'm going to consult the legal scholars online and see whether I'll be facing a couple of days of jail for these charges of which I am undoubtedly guilty. If so, I won't be there on the 2nd and will become an employed fugitive. However, if I just get fines and they let me make a payment plan of like $20/month, I'll be satisfied. Right now I'm at a Subway restaurant ("restaurant") in North Jersey because the bus I take back home inexplicably didn't run today (Did the mofo quit?), so I'll be walking a ton of distance and eventually calling a Lyft to get home, provided that my 53% charge cell phone holds up, and this thread isn't helping. So yeah, post comments, thoughts, and whatnot. F the police, I really shouldn't go
Naraku4656 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 they're letting you appear a second time?
fuggnificent Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Please go! Youre lucky! In sc they dont give 2nd chances!
discolé monade Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 they're letting you appear a second time? that's what i was wondering, because wouldn't he technically have a bench warrant for FTA?
Naraku4656 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 that's what i was wondering, because wouldn't he technically have a bench warrant for FTA? that was my thought too. they don't usually just give out a second appearance unless you've already contacted them and made arrangements
StarPanda Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 why didn't you respond to my pm Because he blocked you
Zenigundam Posted September 22, 2017 Author Posted September 22, 2017 they're letting you appear a second time? They said online that this was a distinct possibility, so I'm not all that surprised. I'm ruined if I get ANY jailtime though since I'll lose my job for missing work and lying about why I left early on October 2nd, so I really can only go if it's a certainty that I'll just be given a hefty fine and a payment plan to pay it off, and not jailed.
StarPanda Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 draft picks? Yes he got drafted by the new jersey police department
Zenigundam Posted September 22, 2017 Author Posted September 22, 2017 zeni as a cop? the teens wouldn't be able to resist him They really couldn't resist me if you get the pun.
fuggnificent Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 zeni looks white so he's fine He also looks a bit mexican and they might deport his ass.

Zenigundam Posted September 22, 2017 Author Posted September 22, 2017 wait wut, you're not sure why they sent the second letter? they would have probably been more lenient if you had gone the first time Didn't have the money to pay even a bare minimum fine. Now I'll be fine, but I shouldn't go.
discolé monade Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Didn't have the money to pay even a bare minimum fine. Now I'll be fine, but I shouldn't go. stop trying to play the tough guy for shock value. go to he damn court and take care of your business.
fuggnificent Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Pls go zeni..youre too pretty and soft for jail!
Naraku4656 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Didn't have the money to pay even a bare minimum fine. Now I'll be fine, but I shouldn't go. they might charge you more $ to tack on "rescheduling fees"
Zenigundam Posted September 22, 2017 Author Posted September 22, 2017 they might charge you more $ to tack on "rescheduling fees" Yeah I bet they want to tack on all kinds of BS fees Not even gonna bother going
NaBarney Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 As long as this arc doesn't interfere with you getting yourself to AS Live I don't care what you do
Ginguy Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 If you ditch this second time they will put a warrant out on you for sure. Chances are since you got a second date they didn't issue it yet, but if you ditch again it is a no bail failure to appear warrant and a couple weeks in the county for you Zeni.
Mix Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 they do things differently in jeyzzeee....I thought for sure you would be sitting on a warrant...

Well if I go, I could be screwed as well, especially if I don't come with any money in my pockets.
naraku360 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Well if I go, I could be screwed as well, especially if I don't come with any money in my pockets. What are you, chicken? Bawk bawk.
Ginguy Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Well if I go, I could be screwed as well, especially if I don't come with any money in my pockets. Zeni, as long as you can show gainful employment they won't toss you in jail for inability to pay directly. They will just garnish your income until the fines are paid off. Go to court, this isn't the kind of thing you can ignore and wait for it to go away. Or don't, and get used to being on the lam. ohno
Skinko Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 stop trying to play the tough guy for shock value. go to he damn court and take care of your business. Woah, hey, c'mon now... Let's not start accusing this good man of playing tough for shock value. Personally, I think he has a really good case, and his best option is to skip court and just go to work that day. Court stuff takes forever to go through, might as well make money while you wait.
bnmjy Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 but I'm going to consult the legal scholars online :it:
