I accidentally forgot to remove the silly string in my carry-on once.

Despite being flagged for an aerosol can and having it removed, they allowed me to take it on the plane.

Now, there is a significant difference in terms of use as a weapon between those two things,

but TSA occasionally surprises.

have you ever been around after someone fires pepper spray?  it spreads and lingers. if she took it on the plane and sprayed it in such close quarters, it could make very many sick. i dont see them being lenient.

too late tho i think shes on her plane now

I do understand the significance of pepper spray's effects in an environment such as that,

but it was also possible my silly string was anything else with a kid-friendly label slapped on it.

TSA surprises. Sometimes it's a careless surprise, but occasionally anything goes in this strange world.

I dunno but what a laugh that would be if you rando sprayed some in first class ::]::

in such close quarters, itd get her too. maybe not as bad.

i know this because one day i was walking down the hall in high school and started coughing real bad. then i realized everyone around me was coughing. some getting really sick and throwing up. it was scary and i later found out it was because some sprayed pepper spray like 30 minutes ago

Far as I know you can have it in your luggage if you check it. Not allowed for carry-on, though. Shit you can bring firearms, too, so long as they're in the right container and are checked.

I forgot I made this thread that day. I didn't check a bag and had it. Since I was already in line I ended up taking it on the flights. They didn't say anything or have my bag opened. I brought it on my return flight as well, and it was the same no mention of it. It was cool & nice to not have to buy more when I landed.

I think Homeland checked airline security and something like 70/75 breaches they attempted went unnoticed.

Just sayin' it's not a surprise
