Just another day to me. I'm working a 12 hour shift then back for another 8 that night, should be easy since Christmas

I should add that my housemate's other dog is really smart, the Pet Safe collar wasn't effective on her because she figured out that if she just kept running really fast while being shocked she could get out of range pretty quickly.

My housemate uses Pet Safe which has worked well for years on her little Chihuahua, it stays in the yard and gets where not to go. It beeps at em when they're getting close to crossing the line so after the first little while they don't get shocked. Installing it seems like an enormous pain in the ass, but I'm lazy. I bought a collar for my dog when I first moved here and tried to show her the perimeter but that involves the dog getting shocked repeatedly until they figure it out, even on the lowest setting I just couldn't do it it was too sad. Now she just runs free and I'm ok with that and since she's small the neighbors are tolerant of it, even though cars are still a risk. If she was a bigger dog I would probably have stuck with the collar tho

Don't be so sure. There may not be any native populations but individuals can cover a lot of ground in their lives and they travel all over. They sometimes get spotted on nature cams in states where they aren't supposed to exist, including NY and throughout New England

Today there was a big ole mess of power steering fluid on the ground waiting for me, featuring special guests awful grinding and moaning noises and a severe burning smell! No idea what the cause is, how much it will cost, or if it will even be worth it to fix!! But hey that's all part of the fun. THIS IS WHY WE DO THIS All on top of the recently replaced water pump, the other really expensive weird replacement part I can't remember right now, and I just bought four brand new tires for the piece of shit~! Not to mention everything else wrong, from the lack of an odometer and gas gauge to the way every possible dash light lights up like a highly concerning Christmas tree made out of pure shit and fuck Feeling really good about holding out on fixing the smashed window right now. Also a guy with just socks on, no shoes came running literally right out of a sewer drain to ask me if I had a cell phone and when I said no he followed me into the store I was trying to kill time at. They made him leave right away for being on drugs and not having shoes but I'll see him again before the tow truck gets here So fucking glad I just re upped on weed yesterday.
