The old guy at work had both his knees replaced. Im sure the intial recovery is a bitch but hes walking straighter than ever. Anxiety before surgery is normal. Doctors and nurses in general gives me really bad anxiety just for routine stuff. The smell of clinic antiseptic sends my heart racing. I didnt know how i was going to make it through my cesarean being completely awake and aware ... but that spinal tap and being so fucking done with contractions made everything cool.
