Well I mean worst comes to worst, we sacrifice Pod 6. But more seriously, what is the actual practical scenario where KN would feasibly see himself as being in potential danger? Even assuming the extremely unlikely event that anyone who cares stumbles across this site, what sort of content could we post that would make him liable?

The worst thing I had to read in high school was fucking The Awakening. Either that or A Separate Peace. Ugh.

Somehow I missed out on it in high school. I think other academic tracks had to read it, but not the one I was in. Most of what I know of it is from GITS: Stand-Alone Complex.

I had to laugh when I saw the opening described as "the Bebop we have at home." It doesn't affect my cautious optimism for the series much either way, but I do think it would have been a good idea to go for something that wasn't quite so...on the nose.

Yeah, I didn't know what to expect from it going in, but it's been fantastic so far.

It's crazy how much of that I still remember from the final version of the episode. I watched the shit out of reruns of those original (good) seasons back in college.

My God the nostalgia wave.

The original series was a masterpiece, and literally everything else associated with the franchise has been varying levels of hot garbage. It's kind of incredible.

I like how this pair of episodes started with the worst part of the whole arc, Bellamy's horseshit that literally no one cares about, and ended with one of the best parts, pure Unmedicated Grandpa insanity and Sai managing to absolutely win at life.

I haven't bothered looking at these things yet, but I've at least recorded them (when I remember to), and I have no idea what I'm actually getting because the cable guide titles and descriptions are for a different show entirely. We always joked about the [as] schedule monkeys, but this network seems like it's being run by a single hamster.

Okay...but this is hardly going to be "Demarco's soundtrack." Even when he's not directing anime, Watanabe is a great music producer for other series (his choices for Shingo Natsume's "Sonny Boy" were fantastic). There's no universe in which he isn't making the calls on his own series.
