  1. Nevermind. I had to logon to the dead site in order to be logged on to the staging site...bizarre.
  2. Spicy food got nothing on SUPrep.
  3. Turns out I can't log on at all anymore. I had shut down my computer before going on vacation and on restart, I can't log on to the staging site. Anybody else got this problem or know how to fix it?
  4. Sorry but I disagree. The best is listening through high quality headphones. The most I recall about the concerts I attended had nothing to do with the music, for the most part. There were a few where amps blew or mics were dead.
  5. Beats the heck out of spending your birthday at a funeral like I did.
  6. I'm thankful for being able to have Thanksgiving with both my folks, my cancer survivor Mom & my stage 4 Dad, who's responding well to chemo.
  7. It's one of those long lighters. He lights the thing directly under his nose - I'm not exactly sure what the heck he was trying to do, but I'm not going to watch that garbage to find out either.
  8. You ever see that "Chrisley" commercial where his eldest son tries to snort the lighter (or whatever he was trying to do)? He makes me think of zeni.
  9. Can't log on the old board where I am now. It only seems to work on my laptop.
  10. There are great events and terrible events with every era. I would say '60s (the music, the optimism), but then there's Nam, assassinations, civil unrest, cold war.... I'll stick with what I have, thanks.
  11. I'd ditch the cover. Like I said, it might get you ignored. If you're interested in the place, learn something on how the staff handles themselves. It might give you insight on what to stress in a resume that might garner attention.
  12. Sorry, no returns without a receipt.
  13. Just remember, whatever you put in the resume will be open to question durring any interview. The first thing I'd ask as an interviewer is, "With your desires changing constantly, how do I know if I hire you that you won't change your mind and leave?". If there are gaps, let there be gaps. If they question the gaps, that's when you have to explain, not on paper. BTW - I wouldn't do a cover letter. You want a one page resume for this sort of position. Most HR in stores are going to toss anything with a cover letter. In fact, are you sure you even need a resume for this? At store level, they're not usually needed - I never used one until I applied at corporate.
  14. Already know what make it glitter...http://incrediblethings.com/food/this-gold-pill-makes-you-poop-glitter/
