The entire "The Beach Boys Christmas Album". The store mgr at the second place I worked loved it & put it on an endless loop (auto-reverse cassette that I had jerry-rigged into the PA system). As they always do. Yesterday's Packers vs Bears game was supposed to have wind chills as low as -35F, but the temp wimped out. Still it was cold enough to push the 12/23/1999 game I was at to the 7th coldest (Tampa at Bears). 10F without the wind chill - all the scoring was at our endzone. I learned that the hot chocolate they were selling was actually molten lava & severely burned my tongue.

A coworker's stomach was hurting him a few weeks ago. Found out today they'll be giving him radiation to kill the pain, then he'll go directly into hospice. They found cancer everywhere in his body.

I've made egg pancakes before, pretty much the same thing & really easy.

People with pets tend to treat them, and feel, as if they're members of their family. It may be killing the original owner that they had to give up the cat (I've had to do the same thing temporarily while I lived in a "no pets" motel, while looking for a place - first thing I did once I got a place was drive the 500 mi to get my cat back). You can ask the original owner if they still want the cat. If they do, I would suggest going online after you get your own place, and visit nokill shelter sites. There are plenty of cats in need of good homes, my current cat spent its first 5 years of life in a cage at the shelter. Some places will offer an adoption discount if you take a "senior" resident or a cat with special needs.
