If you were in Marquette, it might have been different because of the college kids from out of the area. Everyone I met in my 9 months there talked like Bob & Doug McKenzie without calling anyone "Hoser". -

Got me Scandinavian too. Kinda weird since it appears to come from my German/Scot/Irish Mom. Musta been those darn Vikings looting, pillaging and doing the nasty in their Volvo ships.
