We walked in, ordered and sat down, talking only to each other. It was a couple hours before they closed, so it wasn't like walked in with minutes left in their day & demanded they fire up the grill. The friend I was with worked as a waiter & a bartender, so he wouldn't act like a douche to anyone in a restaurant. We weren't wearing clothes with controversial statements or anything that could be misconstrued as such.

Nope. We were just walking around and decided to drop in a place about 3 blocks from our apt. The guys behind the counter kept glaring at us. It was a very weird vibe. Maybe there was something else going on...like the "camera store" near another apt, that had about 25 rolls of 35mm and a couple cameras. That place always had lots of sealed merchandise boxes going in the back of the place, but the front of the store was really spartan.

Last few days, yes.

If Cilantro tastes like soap to you, I wonder how you'd do with Lychee nuts (aka "soapberries"). My former Mgr (from India), her predecessor and our team went to a Chinese/Indian buffett place. The former Mgr. talked up Lychee and how great they were. Her predecessor tried one & said it was like chewing on a bar of soap (taste-wise). Meanwhile, the former Mgr. is happily munching away on them.

Hispanic owned and operated local chain, highly rated so we went in - everyone was in the back watching telenovelas, most the tables still hadn't been cleared & wiped down (approx 1 pm). The floor was a mess. The food was ok, but I've had better in little storefronts in Chicago neighborhoods.

Don't try the Voodoo first, they took every spice they had and dumped them on the chips - hard to differentiate any flavor.

Zapp's Hotter than Jalapeno, or Cajun Crawtater. If I could eat them, Jay's Garlic & Onion.

The only thing I think Chipotle does wrong is that I think the condiments (Salsa, sour cream, guac, cheese, lettuce) should go on the tortilla first, then the meat, beans & rice. It would lead to the condiments not being lumped to one end in the burrito.
