I had thought that Putin was trying to lure the US/NATO into a confrontation so he would have an excuse to unleash hypersonic missiles against the West, but was told they only have a few hypersonics. So if they only have a few, and used it to hit a vehicle, then either Putin has gotten really desperate/crazy, he's sending some sort of message to the West or he's got more of them than people think. Considering the expense, the use against just one vehicle seems pretty weird. Edit: Late last night they changed it to "munitions stockpile", hope it was their own stuff.
