Maybe it's just the "Dead Heads", the ones that travel with the band from concert to concert. I've heard that there are some so devoted, they would take a year off from work just to follow the tour.

I only like "Casey Jones" and "Truckin'". The running joke was that their fans love their jams in concert - but they were all baked, and didn't realize how bad the music really was.
