  1. Wait, what? We can get massages here?! Do they come with happy endings?
  2. If he holds the wedding and she doesn't show up, he gets nothing, and she gets congratulations on her good sense and lucky escape.
  3. Guillotines are too swift, merciful, and dignified. Maybe stocks, a pillory, and an ample supply of rotten produce?
  4. If you're even vaguely Christian, you might want to consider getting the house blessed. (Of course, that tends to just piss demonic entities off, but hey, if blood doesn't start dripping out of the taps, at least you know it's just a ghost. It may even help.) I also think that, at least in some jurisdictions, an undisclosed death in a house may be grounds for legal action (although I'm not sure, and it may only apply to a violent death or a suicide.) I also seem to recall a successful lawsuit regarding a known haunting not mentioned at the time of sale.
  5. No woad in the house. It stinks.
  6. I just wish I could pronounce it. (My older daughter, who took German in school, has tried to teach me, but I just can't. Bummer; she makes it sound so applicable.)
  7. Your useless fact for the day: "Backpfeifengesicht" is the German word for "a face in need of a fist."
  8. Thread on Kiwi Farms when?
  9. Some of us have fat fingers.
  10. The sourdough has been a success. Bread, scones, thinking about trying pancakes next.
  11. My parents were big into liver and onions, but I've always loathed it, partly for the taste and partly for the texture. When I was a kid, we used to make wild goose liver pate during hunting season (providing, of course, that somebody shot some geese). Very tasty, but I wouldn't touch liver with a ten foot pole otherwise.

Seeing that caffeine stimulates the intestines, and that at least 2 of the other ingredients can cause frequent stools or diarrhea, I'm sure that it's effective. At least it's not as blatant as the tea with senna in it.
  13. Have to have the semantics right for it to be billable.
  14. Update your sources - it was changed to Dissociative Identity Disorder back in the 90's. Antidepressants, antipsychotics, and anxiolytics are all used in treatment of DID.
  15. Sertraline? You're asking an awful lot from a simple SSRI. I'm thinking olanzapine,or maybe a little good old-fashioned haloperidol.
  16. How can you not get him? You're stuck to the end of his arm.
  17. To see if he's competent to stand trial.
  18. I live for the day that you forget to change accounts.
  19. Shut up, Rebecca.
  20. Are you sure that this isn't something court-mandated for your friend?
  21. I wish I could juggle.
  22. It's fucking snowing.
