I think willing to open up about that is great, but it can't replace actual therapy with a trained professional. Even folks like myself, who have dealt with a lot of mental illness, in both themselves, and others, and have read a lot of material on it, can't really replace a trained professional with an objective eye. I understand probably more than my gf does about her anxiety issues, and i try my best to help her with them through things I've done to get a handle on my own, but i don't have the training to break through. Her counselor is the only one with training for that. Sadly issuance won't fucking cover more than once a month, which just isn't enough to really tackle anything. But yeah, I've gone way off on a tangent. I'm high. I agree with your post in that opening up with that really deep shit is a really important step. I'm grateful i have that. I know I'm lucky.
