I lost everything I typed when the mobile text box had a brain fart so I'll try to restate my original post in brief. I haven't really played much recently just due to life. I think I've finished all the main quests save diving into the final confrontation. I've got a bunch of minor side quests to close out and a few shrines left to track down. A lot of lightroots left and X marks to track down too. At this point I am a little over halfway into the "hero's path" bar, not sure how that translates into gameplay hours.

What I'm saying, scoob, is that nature is a torture chamber and that molar should use his ability to intervene and spare the fawn that reality by domesticating it.

I was just having a related conversation, nearly everything in nature that doesn't die in some freak accident will inevitably be murdered and eaten and it will most likely be a horrible and painful death. Like you hear about the lions and hyenas picking off the weak, sick, or old gazelle or zebra or whatever and that's how the collective herd stays healthy, but from an individual perspective each member of that herd will eventually be the sick, weak, or old one. With deer, instead of lions and hyenas it's wolves, coyotes, hunters, and headlights.

I bought a couple sets of remote raid passes, and we stopped at the park and did a couple in person raids because I saw a snorlax in a cowboy hat in the tracker, and when I flopped on the bed at home I saw one more rayquaza raid in the distance so I used my last pass to hit the 400 mega energies. Landed a perfect with an extra meteorite to boot. Will pretty him up something nice.
