Hi Gene! Minutes aren't counted. Currently we have a sort of low-key rank system based solely on post count, though the ranks don't come with colors and you can change that rank line under your name to say whatever you want once you hit a certain threshold. We do have colored ranks (on mobile, the color doesn't translate to the user name on desktop yet), but those are either contest prizes or a reward for donating to the server fund.

It just reminded me of applying to law school, one of the schools either rejected or waitlisted me but I didn't get the note until after I had already accepted an offer from another school. Figured after a couple months of no reply that it was a no, didn't really need a basically-after-the-fact letter.
