Each chamber of Congress, as a separate and independent branch of government, has wide latitude to set its own rules and court are loathe to get involved. In this instance, the Constitution doesn't explicitly state members must be present in the room to constitute a quorum, and the emergency resolution stated that "any Member whose vote is cast or whose presence is recorded by a designated proxy under this resolution shall be counted for the purpose of establishing a quorum under the rules of the House." No legitimate court is going to retroactively throw that out. Additionally, congressional business is conducted all the time without a quorum so if we're following the logic, it would have to invalidate probably 200 years' worth of congressional actions.

ORTHODONTICAL UPDATE I had my "final" appointment this morning where I got the cement nubs grinded off my teeth and they do a new scan to determine if any further refinements are needed. I don't know why I couldn't handle it this time, but I 100% had a mini panic attacks while she was grinding/polishing and had to stop a couple times and at one point went "WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT MY TONGUE" and they were like "just relax and breathe through your nose and the tongue will know what to do (spoiler alert: it didn't). I can still feel slightly residue that she'll have to polish off next time but my mouth isn't full of pokey cement nubs so yay I guess. Then the assistant took me into the other room for the 3D scan and I said "don't worry I won't freak out, there are no sharp moving parts" but then she babied me through the entire thing (think like lots of "ok I'm going to move it right here and there will be a little bit of pressure" and lots of "great job!") and it was frankly a little embarrassing even though no one else was there. Like it's just a square plastic wand. Then as the scan compiled she was like "it'll be just a minute ok? There's an emergency we have to take care of and then we'll be right back. So I have no idea if I was allowed to, but I started zooming in and playing with the scans on the touch screen monitor for the ten minutes I was alone and then when the dentist came back I was able to make a more compelling argument that I will need additional refinements for my front-most teeth because she didn't believe me earlier and she said ok. SO THE STORY CONTINUES

I thought I saw something somewhere several days ago about them wanting to recover the wreckage in the shallow water off the east coast rather than the super deep water off Alaska, but I have no idea where I read that so I can't really stand by it.

Wanted to share this YouTube channel that popped up in my recommendations a few weeks ago. It's this professional composer named Geebz who makes videos listening to music outside of his normal universe of music (he's got a couple other channels that I haven't explored), and he got himself caught in the YouTube algorithm once he started doing videos on anime themes and video game OSTs. The video game stuff picked up enough that he jumped into doing live Twitch streams. It's a super simple concept but there was just something wholesome and smiley about seeing an old guy listen to super nostalgic nerd stuff that he's never even heard of until making the video, and then tell you why it's great. I can't speak to why alternative search engines pick up our other accounts. But searching it with the word "freeboard" is going to pull the old UEMB because that one was a freeforum/proboard. In your personal case, why do you need to find us via search engine? Just type in "unevenedge.com" in the address bar. I would think it would be wayward [adult swim] message board people stumbling into us searching to find out what happened to the ASMB, and they wouldn't be searching for us by our name.

My intent was for GD to approximate most of the topical spectrum of old Noise, absent the news discussions threads that would frequent Babbs and Rants. So like anything from casual discussion to venting to sports to whatever doesn't have its own folder and even to light IB-style shitposting. But then if you're looking for hardcore classic IB-style shitposting, there's the IB club space that you may or may not be a member of.

Yes lol that's literally what the Hole used to be used for on the old software, to remove content that needed to go that Luuv didn't want to delete from existence (it's only been used recently to hide bot posts to keep their IP addresses in the system). But yeah, you nailed it.
