I'm gonna replay Pokemon Sword, but I want to do a monotype run. I've most recently completed a Poison-type run, so I want to go through again with a different type. First response to this thread that features an actual pokemon type will be the type I go with.

My friend and I had a conversation about whether or not aliens were real, and my opinion is that any intelligent life out there that could get to us that wanted anything from us would have conquered us by now.

With the release of Eva 3.0 + 1.0, I have strong opinions on this now. I can't stand Amazon, but I had to sign up for an Amazon Prime trial to watch the movie. When my trial expires, I will no longer be able to see the movie. I would love to have a bluray copy so I can put it on my shelf next to Evas 1.11, 2.22, and 3.33, but I have a strong suspicion that Amazon will not allow the movie to be released on physical media. It's shit.

I got a free Prime trial just to watch the movie and it made me ugly-cry. It's not as confusing as Part 3, and the pre-opening recap of the first three movies was very welcome. Mari kicking ass and using the Eiffel Tower to explode an entire army of Evas was rad af, I got sad when Ayanami got tanged, and all the batshit insane stuff about spears, Unit 13, the Imaginary Eva, and everything turned into set dressing when it boiled down to Shinji overcoming his depression. Like, Gendo acknowledging how he failed and finally seeing how Shinji had his mother's spirit and accepting her death was heart wrenching but at the same time inspiring. Shinji letting go of Rei and Asuka and Kaworu was just so beautiful. I had read an article where Anno said he feels like he doesn't need to see Shinji anymore, and I get it. Shinji made it through his darkest times and came out the other side better for it, and I love it. Damn it's a good movie.

On the one hand I've never trolled the gas station attendant, but on the other I also don't know the size of my gas tank and have always just thought of gas in dollars instead of gallons. Like if I have to go inside it's just "I need $20 in gas."

Buy Stardew Valley. It's available on most consoles as well as PC (I recommend PC because the modding community is on that shit like whoa). Spend time in the game. Too much time. Fall in love with one (or more) of the characters in the game. Spend nearly two thousand hours in the game. Let your waking moments be filled with the thought "fuck real life, I wonder what my Stardew waifu/husbando is doing today."

I had the realization the other day that the Smashing Pumpkins cover of "Landslide" is older now than the original song was when the Smashing Pumpkins recorded the cover.
