I’m going to submit an entry once again. Not to much of a fan of the prompt, but I’m partway done with a story that doesn’t involve The Fast & The Furious fanfiction.

The second most misguided decision that Passione made since they let Giorno into the gang. But I do feel like the comedy OVAs were writing on the wall that there wasn't anything left to say about Higurashi that wasn't said in the the old anime & Kai. Anything else would either retread on fine enough territory or make a mockery out of the source material. At this point, they'd be better off adapting other Ryukishi07 material than trying to resurrect Higurashi.

This one market by me has some amazing kimchi. But my favorite is the cucumber kimchi that’s spicy but also a little sweet.

Sounds like an experience and a half. I’d hope that if I ever end up seeing Cats, it’s on some substance.

These massive rice crackers: I've also been dipping into the smaller rice crackers as well. I usually only go for the Trader Joes one since they have a salt & vinegar chip or one from an Asian market like this: I recently got a honey flavored rice cracker mix from a different brand, but it's been miserable.

I'd imagine the fight scenes looked great on the big screen. As someone newer to Broly as a character (hadn't seen his older movies), it was nice to see this movie try to humanize him a bit and have Cheelai there to bring out his more sympathetic qualities. It's also a pleasant surprise to get some glimpses of Bardock's home life before he had Goku sent away.

I was going to skim through it and say something smug, but I got invested by the time I got halfway through.

The decade. It seemed like it was going to be so normal, but then that second half...

I was hoping this would be a rock musical, but there's a ton of fun things they do to recreate the game like the character title cards or using the old music/SFX to mimic an in-game fight for its action scenes.

A dream scenario would be if they had a remake of Capcom's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game that looked as visually impressive as Dragon Ball FighterZ or Guilty Gear. If they remade Persona 2 Innocent Sin & Eternal Punishment with the same interface/combat as 5, I'd be ecstatic. Jet Set Radio & Jet Set Radio Future would look kickass with this generation's graphics capabilities. Final Fantasy VIII would be nice to see updated. FFVIII had enough flaws that a comprehensive remake wouldn't need to live up to as many lofty expectations as VII, and the game would actually benefit from things like adding new elements to the story or rehauling the combat to be geared towards an action RPG system. It might not be a remake, but a home console version of Kid Icarus Uprising and Persona 4 Golden would be nice as well.

The old ASMB forums had their ups and downs, similarly with my time in CSW. It was a nice place to practice with my writing and a ton of fun, but I was younger and a lot more desperate to make people laugh. I had the hunger but none of the control to harness it properly so there was just far too much material where I looked sloppy or unhinged. I'd be quick to apologize to anyone I might've offended or anyone whose toes I stepped on with some of my old posts. But life's been moving very quickly. Done with college, moved into a writing gig around 2017 that helps me remain calmer, focused, and self-reflective, and have a ton of personal life successes to make up for any turbo-anxiety I picked up along the way. I usually tend to be too shy to follow what's going on with everyone, but it is nice to keep in touch when the stars align.

I heard some dude on a podcast talk about how some guy in the audience kept laughing during the film because they couldn't disassociate Adam Sandler from his Happy Madison movies. He'd get beat up, and there'd be guys in the audience laughing as if it's a Netflix kneeslapper.

Too much time has passed where I’ve come to realize they’re all best gril. I couldn’t just throw the rest of them under the bus in full confidence. Maybe I’ll replace my sig with something or maybe one day I’ll switch it back for old times sake, but I’m comfy with this icon for now.
