True, it'd be a luck of the draw. Sometimes I'd straight-up say I drew what was a screencap from an actual episode or art directly from a video game, and they'd accept it. Other times, I'd go through hurdles to tweak it a little bit just to say I drew it or I got permission from some random dude that just dumped official art on Zerochan or a booru page. I think I used to coach people in the art of getting away with what I used to be able to get accepted.

Ah, classic mistake. I just don't get why people have to use 60x60 dimensions for icons. Theres only so much I can fit into a small grey square. It's already painful enough as it is to use vector art of anime characters that [as] doesn't have the license for, and then say I made it myself to get it passed. It's not like Turner Legal is actually visiting the site and is thinking "We don't own the rights to use this Tekken icon, send this copyright thief to prison!"

Nothing too exciting. I think the only dumb thing I've done drunk is burn my mouth on chicken tenders that were just made at some crappy cheesesteak joint. My Communications major was the most slapped together thing ever. They lumped in rhetoric, mass media, and film all under the same envelope, which is why my thesis was part film analysis and part mass media analysis. Because the films I saw had a political tinge to them, I spent half of my time on the paper talking about America during the 90's, the aughts, and present day, and how surveillance evolved during the internet boom and the War on Terror. It was a tough balancing act to combine "What is the camera conveying?" with "Let's discuss the public reception of the Patriot Act", but I was indecisive and it didn't help that I was into studying mass media and film because my major had a thousand different components to it.

Also, I was wondering how worth it it'd be to level up 3-4 stars? Marie's my 4 star, but I'm thinking of using 3 star Kiyohime, Ushiwakamaru, Medusa, or Mash, and am not sure if I should build up one of those or save my experience cards for when I can fit a 2nd 5 star on my team. I'm also not sure how stingy I need to be with my cards because I'm skeptical about burning them all in one go, but many people are higher than 20 while I only just got Arturia around 21.

Is it the high quality stuff only they can afford, or are just slapping their name into weed strains like how some celebrities peddle overpriced liquor?
