So instead of specializing it for the gender of your character, they pretty much just sterilize it by making your character completely blank slate. Where it didn't even matter if you were pansexual or not because they just slapped on the pandering bs to go with the mechanic that you can date anyone in the game not because of your character's sexuality/gender, but because they didn't bother to program different routes for each gender. With games like Fate/Grand Order, it makes sense to make the dialogue same per gender because you're not meant to be treated differently in the dialogue for a phone game. Here, they're highly publicizing their laziness as if it makes them feel progressive, and win brownie points for not trying.

Yuu's clingy stalker personality and Koizumi's unreasonably cold demeanor can be overbearing throughout the half hour duration. It does make up for it with how great the ramen looks though. But that's why the chapters are 11 pages and not 40.
