  1. It's old enough to have Famicom games. But I did buy the original PS1 fighting game a while ago. It's pretty fun, but I have been far too privileged with fighting games that use the joystick instead of the D-Pad. The games easy enough and playing as both versions of Joseph, Polnareff and Mariah was great, but the side scrolling mini games and QTEs were a pain with the D-Pad, especially the Steely Dan stage. All Star Battle was also a fun but slow fighting game. Haven't played the PS4 one, but the demo wasn't as good with the messiness of arena fighters.
  2. Much of the home cooking I’ve had growing up is Lebanese. Great stuff, if it’s got eggplant or fried onion, it’s perfect
  3. A top four would be curry, udon, sushi, and nachos. Anything at an Izakaya or Korean BBQ works too.
  4. “The Heat is On” really ties it all together
  5. My main objectives at the moment have been Yakuza 0 and 5, but I got a fighting game itch so I’ve been popping in Persona 4 Arena and Naruto Ninja Storm 4. Fire Emblem Heroes and Fate/Grand Order have been taking up my time for phone gaming.
  6. Maybe some cheapo tried to pay the toll in cookies, and they were so good that the toll booth worker was inspired to partner up with the cheapo to mass produce the cookies.
  7. I only play when they have free weekends every so often.
  8. There's a pattern where you have to reflect Yunalesca's spells for the first two stages, and then get zombie'd right before you reach the third stage to avoid falling to the spell she starts off with
  9. I bet Master Roshi has enough criminal allegations against him over the past 300 years to get a guilty verdict. Minoru Mineta would get the book thrown at him just as quickly if not sooner because it’s still going on.
  10. I'm happy for Michael B. Jordan now that he's finally living the dream of becoming anime.
  11. I doubt they'd get rid of Fire Emblem, but I can see them making changes to his character out of respect like having him not hit on some of the heroes.
  12. Kagura is the intellectual waifu for the chosen ones.
  13. I'm actually mistaken because the hairbun guy is the producer, and probably likes the Thundercats. It's the director who's the unrepentant dickbag on Twitter.
  14. Whatever is going on here
  15. Guynasty Warriors: Xtreme Family Legends 3
  16. On one hand, I never cared for Thundercats so it's just been funny to see how much of a shitstorm CN caused by turning it into an obnoxiously quirky hipster comedy. And I might just watch it because of how much of an unrepentant asshole the director has been about rebooting Thundercats this way as well as the sentient hair-bun's attempt to pitch the show as something more. On the other hand, I just found out that Ryuji and Futaba from P5 are starring in the reboot, and people will probably take it out on them for the show being an obnoxiously quirky hipster comedy. Hopefully, that's not the case, but it's just so odd to see them and Patrick Seitz connected to such a show.
  17. Whether the show ends on a satisfying note that feels whole or not is steering heavily towards the latter, but it's all part of the show's charm as a sadistic experience that lets the viewer down more than that one drunken relative that's always invited to family outings.
  18. Rinkah from Fire Emblem Fates
