  1. Nah, they just take issue with me saying it's dumber than COVID, which what I actually said is I personally didn't experience anything dumber due to covid..... I endured no COVID tragedies, only masks, and social distancing..... didn't even experience being unemployed/furloughed..... Didn't say anyone else didn't experience anything dumber due to covid. Not exactly an assembly line, but close enough I guess. They're mandating it soon. I think it sucks and is not needed.
  2. Finding work safety shoes that actually fit has got to be the dumbest experience I've ever had, and yes that includes literally everything COVID-19 related.
  3. Good point.
  4. Provided you're ok with the risk of being asked if you have any change, it would probably be best to go up to them and ask them if they need help back into their wheelchair. Because I think you're right in that calling 911 would be more trouble for them if they are ok and just chilling.
  5. Have you ever had li hing mui? That shit's disgusting.
  6. Last night at work I was right up close to a co-worker who slipped and fell and almost hit his head on a metal conveyer. Luckily he was ok, but goddamn it was unsettling just for me to see. That could've ended up a whole lot worse than it did. Definitely wasn't funny.
  7. This is the unintentionally funniest post I've read here in a long while.
  8. If you ever say, "It's the dog or me" I will immediately throw you out on your ass and slam the door.
  9. New, but not improved?
  10. Even around here in my part of Cali it's about $4.10. Though that's just at the one Chevron I always go to, don't know about the average.
  11. What if you post toe pic memees?
  12. But what were they going to do, just admit there's nothing they could do in the event of an earthquake?
  13. Basically the same idea. Get trapped under a bunch of rubble, we got our snacks.
  14. Heh, maybe it was just my school. I don't know.
  15. I still think that.
  16. True. Also true. I definitely remember getting under the desk for the earthquake drills. I also remember our parents packing us big ass "earthquake bags" of snacks at the beginning of the year, to be stored in the classroom in case an earthquake ruins the building and traps us. Which never happened and at the end of every year we'd open our earthquake bags in class and all pig out.
  17. Franch onion soup.
  18. I remember that and I believe I was involved in it quite a bit.
  19. Franch's Mustard.
