  1. I don't think he's 62 yet, but I like how he's wearing his underwear above his navel like he is past 60.
  2. Yeah, I guess. I'm just surprised you're not going into retirement age with this description.
  3. Why 30? That doesn't seem like an age that would factor into being more unattractive, lol.
  4. D'oh! Thank you. Do you use any other social media besides UEMB? We don't really have anything besides facebook, but it wouldn't hurt for us to look for other avenues. I know one of my band members is on instagram.
  5. Will do. But it will probably be quite a while before we leave California. We literally just booked our first gig tonight. The date is June 23, but it's in Cali. If you follow us on facebook, you should be kept abreast of anytime we play in the Dallas area (or anywhere, really): https://www.facebook.com/badcannon
  6. I kind of do (but really don't) want to see what you mean by "isn't."
  7. You are definitely right in that it depends on the song, I don't know how much it depends on the band though. For my doom metal, I tune to C Standard, but by no means are all our songs in the key of C, riding the open low string. I use that tuning because C is as low as I want to go (I've tried B, and I thought it sounded awful), and I can still play in higher keys if I wish, just playing in different positions rather than the open position. I do this because different riffs and different songs sound better in different keys. In some songs, C might sound best, in other songs, E flat might sound best. Etc. One thing I've noticed about me personally though, is I tend to prefer faster metal in higher tunings, such as Standard E (Again, it's really the key rather than the tuning, but no one's going to play thrash metal or power metal in the key of E if they're not tuned to E). I have not found one single key that I prefer for doom metal though. I use a pretty wide range of keys myself. As for the song you posted, the breakdown was my favorite part. >_>
  8. I listened to like 30 seconds of it. I have an opinion about metal guitar playing that I don't know that many will share... Slow, doomy shit: Downtuning is great. Faster, thrashy shit: Standard E is best. That's a huge reason I don't like much "modern" metal. They're tuning really low for the fast thrashy shit, that to me sounds like it should be in Standard E. The lower tunings just don't have the same "punch" with this kind of music, in my opinion. So many people who play or listen to metal automatically associate lower tunings with being heavier, but I don't necessarily see it that way.
  9. SAY NO MORE, SAY NO MORE
  10. What's stopping you?
  11. Are the guitar riffs like Iron Man? EDIT: We're talking about Black Sabbath right? Since this is a thread about Marvel movies, just thought I'd ask...
  12. Meshuggah? I posted pics of Dio and Joey DeMaio and you give me the fathers of Djent???
  13. I thought the point of getting drunk was to forget your problems and feel less depressed. Help a non-drinker out in understanding this.
  14. God and you didn't even get into all the SEQUELS of Iron Man, The Avengers, etc. My interest in these movies fizzled out pretty quickly a long time ago. But one of the Avengers movies did inspire me to make a meme:
  15. I like how you're not looking at who you're flipping off.
  16. Not even raptorpat knew what happened to it. He gave the ok to start a new one.
  17. Broccoli always smells like farts when its cooking. Every single time. I have come to the conclusion that broccoli is just farts in solid form. Why are we eating solid farts? I don't know, but we are.
  18. You said what I wanted to say, basically.
  19. This is stupid dude. Who cares if people know you got some action. Getting some action is perfectly normal for a 20-something, and they'd probably judge you more for NOT getting any action.
  20. I'm with Athena on this one. If her cowoker said she could have some, didn't put a limit on how much she/they could eat, and didn't let her know she was saving some for a client, it's pretty dumb to get mad at Athena for eating it. If her coworker was saving some, whether for herself or a client, she should've put a note by/on it that said, "Do not eat."
  21. I understand you'd be feeding a lot of mosquitos, but that's your FAVORITE animal to feed?
  22. Some south paws take the tools of the right-handed world and turn them upside down... literally.
