  1. @Phillies maybe she's playing in a city near you!
  2. SAHOCKEYGRL WANTED YOUR DICK
  3. I'm actually getting pretty tired now. But I don't want to go to bed at 6:00 AM. Maybe its a lack of caffeine. Yesterday I had one cup of coffee and two cans of Mountain Dew, and that's it. I haven't had any caffeine since like 5:00 PM yesterday (the coffee was at like 11:00 AM). Maybe I can make myself a strong cup of coffee and wake up.
  4. May as well just skip going to bed at this point.
  5. Haha, it seems the recent sweep the Giants had over the Phillies pissed off Jake Arrietta (who is now a Phillie). https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/phillies/jake-arrieta-unloads-everyone-everything-phillies-suffer-sweep-giants I recommend watching the short video of the interview at the top. He even said, "We had a good April, a good May. June's not starting out so well." It's like, dude, MLB regular seasons are 162 games long, you're bound to get swept in a three game series here and there. Calm the fuck down. I swear to God in years past the Giants would have like a 9 game losing streak followed by a 9 game winning streak less than a week later. As Mike Krukow would say, "That's baseball."
  6. But then I'd have to start hating the Cubs. >_> The Giants won 3 World Series in the span of half a decade. Honestly I'll be satisfied with that for quite a while. Now for me it's more about the Giants doing better than the Dodgers than winning the WS.
  7. I hated the Yankees when they were in every World Series, but they've been absent long enough for me to not hate them anymore.
  8. I just checked the standings, and the Yankees are only 1 game back of the Red Sox. So the AL East will definitely be one of those two teams. The third place team is like 14 games back. Earlier in this very thread I posted how it looked like that the D-Backs were going to run away with the NL West, but they had a complete meltdown and fell to second. The D-Backs and Rockies are currently tied for first.
  9. Yeah, I hope someone does. I wonder how likely it would be the Giants?? After Pablo Sandoval proved to be a horrendous signing for the Red Sox, the Giants gave him another chance. If I remember right, it was around the second half of last year when the Giants re-signed him, and only now is he starting to excel again. His current batting average after today's game is .282. Holy fuck! I know he had no overall season averages like that with the Red Sox, but I don't know if there was any point in beginning or middle of those seasons where his average was that high. Pablo's only playing every day now due to the normal first baseman Brandon Belt being on the DL (he himself is having a career year). But once Belt comes back, Bruce Bochy might have to consider taking 3rd base from Evan Longoria and giving it to Sandoval. Anyways, I said all that to say, if the Giants could give former Giants fan favorite Pablo Sandoval another shot to resurrect his career after bottoming out, why not Lincecum? AND the fact that the Giants have experienced so many injuries to pitchers this season. Yesterday was Bumgarner's first start of the season, after having spent like two months on the DL. Jeff Samardzija and Johnny Cueto are both on the DL. Dereck Rodriguez is definitely a fine interim starter to cover one of those spots. We have so many pitchers up from the minors because of injuries, the Giants or their AAA affiliate could be a place for Lincecum to excel.
  10. There was an interesting bit in the article I linked to. I'm going to divide the sentence into two separate quotes... Sounds like doomsday for his career right? But let's read the rest of that sentence... Sounds like things are actually starting to look up for him. Some of the tweets referenced in the article basically said that there's just not really room for him with the Rangers, and that if someone was going to be called up from the minors, there is a certain other person who should get the first chance (I'm assuming that other person is also a pitcher, but I really don't know). If another organization gives him a minor league deal really quick so he doesn't lose the momentum he's currently on, who knows...
  11. What about the religious politicians? They're like at the top of the list of who needs to go first.
  12. If you're looking for a use for a blog, blogs only have one practical use: To download pirated music from. BTW love the name you gave it, lol.
  13. Jesus Christ, stilgar... Not to white knight KN or something, but how does your constant behavior of calling everyone fucking stupid not the behavior of an immature 14 year old? I'm not saying KN was in the right (I didn't witness the exchange in question), but you accusing someone of acting like an immature 14 year old because they are insulting is like when Fuggs was fatshaming people. You and some other members here you generally get along with, do nothing here but act like teenage edgelords lashing out needlessly at people all the time. If you want to do that, fine, you be you. I'm not telling you to change. It's just the hypocrisy that really bugs me.
  14. Those are good points, but also the anonymity (AS is very well known and you can "accidentally" "out" yourself to people you know irl there, there is basically 0 chance of that happening here), there is no filter dodging required...
  15. Honestly I'd prefer UEMB being the defacto "unofficial" ASMB. I don't want the official boards back. It would be pretty cool if you were to intern with them though!
  16. We actually haven't played any gigs yet. Out first gig is scheduled for June 23 in Fresno. I don't know when we'll branch out, but we definitely do plan on playing in Sacramento in time.
  17. Also the Texas Rangers recently released Tim Lincecum. I don't think he ever pitched in the majors for them. https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/texas-rangers/rangers/2018/06/05/rangers-grant-outright-release-pitcher-tim-lincecum
  18. Madison Bumgarner made his first start of the season yesterday, coming off a long stint on the disabled list. He did ok. Went 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs. Got the loss.
  19. Oh, now I think I remember! When our drummer was putting the page together, he said facebook wouldn't allow him to do it without putting an address, and he didn't want to put his home address on it, so he put in an address to something in Sacramento.
  20. I have no idea where either of our sites say we are in Sacramento, other than our drummer posting his phone number which has a Sacramento area code (he used to live there, doesn't anymore, but kept the number).
  21. I wasn't even trying to say it was her you had a crush on, I was just naming another mlp fan from the old boards.
  22. Holy fuck, you're in Fresno? >_> Yep, new singer.
