Sorry, I find this post quite amusing. I'm sure you had the best of intentions with it, but because you so poorly express yourself through writing (or is it just typing) your post comes off as sarcastic, uncaring, and dickish. But I don't think that was at all your intention.

Church of Misery is my favorite Japanese metal band. Stoner / doom metal. I hate to say it, but their album with the 1 Japanese guy and the 3 white American guys is their best album. >_> They're back to a full Japanese line-up now, though. I don't know if you're interested in Black Sabbath worship, but if you are, you really need to check these guys out: I do have to warn you though, they do have somewhat of a gimmick, if you can call it that. All of their songs are about serial killers, mass murderers, etc. That could be seen as a gimmick I guess. But lyrics aside, these guys are legit. Flower Travellin' Band is a good proto-metal / heavy-psych band from the early 70s. Me being a metal head and Sabbath freak, I favor their heaviest album, Satori. Loudness is pretty good heavy metal band from the early 80s that achieved moderate success in the states in 1985 for their album Thunder In the East and it's single Crazy Nights. My first exposure to this band was the video for Crazy Nights on VH1, and by the looks of it, you'd think they were a hair metal band. I was like, "Man, Japanese hair metal is so much better than American hair metal!" But when I made that comment online, I was told that Japanese hair metal was just as bad or even worse than American hair metal, and Loudness weren't really hair metal despite how they dressed. Despite me really liking Crazy Nights, I didn't really like the rest of the album when I heard it. Of the CDs I have, I think The Birthday Eve, their debut from 1981, is their best. They put out their latest album, Rise to Glory, earlier this year, and I liked it quite a bit when I downloaded it, but I haven't gotten around to ordering it yet. At one point I was all set to order it with a couple other CDs from one of my favorite music webshops, but it was out of stock! It'll have to wait... Starting in the 90s, much of their material has been compared to Pantera. I'm not much a fan of these albums that I've heard, but I'm not the biggest Pantera fan around. The new album has much more of an 80s metal sound rather than Pantera influence though.

I mean, was the wall Dale Earnheardt crashed into even brick? Do they have brick walls at race tracks? What are those walls made out of? Is brick the only feasible type of material for a wall at a race track? As you can see, I know absolutely nothing about walls.

One of those stupid quizzes popped up on my facebook feed "If you can guess all these rock bands, you probably went to grad school." WHAT? It was just so stupid I had to click. Anyway stupid test. I got one wrong. Said I had a PhD. I mean, I don't think there's any link between college education and knowledge of music. In fact, I maintain there might even be a little bit of an inverse relationship. The more you know about music, the more likely you are to become a musician (or vice versa). The more serious you become as a musician, the more likely you are to ditch college to follow your dreams of becoming a rock star (or at least a pro musician, even if you're just scraping by... better than a lousy desk job, right?). I mean, yeah I am college educated (only bachelor's though), but that's because my parents MADE me go to college, I just wanted to fucking form a band right out of high school (Yeah I know technically I could've just told my parents off and struck out on my own, but I was not at all ready to grow up when I was fresh out of high school, so to college I went). EDIT: To play devil's advocate to the above paragraph, there's always the possibility that you majored in music when you went to college. But the test never specified that.

Yeah watches are generally pretty unnecessary for most people these days. I never understood the point of bracelets, but maybe that's because I'm not a woman.
