It's Summer, so naturally this thought came to mind.

Ok, but here's my eternal question: Do werewolves grow extra nipples when they transform? Or do they just always have extra nipples even when they're human? -
So, if I'm seeing right, fully half the block starting this week is dedicated to reruns? Eesh. I'm probably incredibly biased, cuz I've fully tuned it out and can't actually speak for the quality.. but I wouldn't be shocked if Naruto is also in some ways at the root of this, being in one last burst of filler hell. Looks like thankfully that will be coming to an end in a couple months or so at least; maybe getting back to canon can bring back some energy.. In general tho, as nice as it's been to have some big names on the block, maybe it'd be worth looking to cultivate more of a "cult classic" feel. Clearly they're not able to pick up new stuff very well or very often. So why not look back to find some sleeper hits. Sure that runs the risk of hitting a "that's old, people have already seen it" etc. But, idk. They could maybe pull off finding a few things that have those dedicated audiences, things that didn't catch the right attention and maybe just need a wider reach to catch on. Orrr, they're old and the reason they're not popular is because they're just not very good..

I mostly use dating apps as people watching. No real desire to socialize, and I'm finding I prefer my own isolation and solitude over wrecking my routines to include someone else..

Anyone here even use the Adult Swim app anymore?
rpgamer replied to [classic swim]'s topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Mobile? I've maybe only used it once or twice. On Roku stick tho, occasionally. All the shows (but not necessarily all the episodes). Is handy to put on the simulcast if I can't be out on my main tv. -
All right. Whose turn is it to get the dragon balls? Not sure if joke is in poor taste, or if honoring her memory by cracking a dumb joke...

Unicorn: Warriors Eternal Episode 7 Talkback
rpgamer replied to Jman's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
His original body never died and remained preserved. Because, y'know, elf magic or something. It felt weird to me how the elf horns sounded like, idk, hockey goal buzzers or something. -

I deleted over 100gb of porn from my computer.

All you gotta remember is "Remake" is a misnomer, and there's a pretty high chance the game will piss you off if you're looking for a big hit of nostalgia. -
Definitely was stifled in the end with the cancellation, but at least got to tell the story it wanted as best it could. Saw the finale as a re-airing, thought it was ok but left some loose ends... until I watched the recording I had of the finale premier, with the entire extended ending post-credits scene stuff, and that did a lot to really tie it all up. With it ended, there's not really much left airing for me to get into. Amphibia caught me around the same time and also ended not so long ago. Really needs to be at least one of these cartoon greats airing somewhere at all times... but with Owl House getting canned the way it did, hard to imagine anywhere willing to invest in letting one really stretch and grow.

Who was your favorite admin on the old boards?

Is interesting what old archives you can dig up on some of these old names.... I was never part of it, but wonder if this will ring any bells for ya. https://www.angelfire.com/weird2/siren13/claspmugs/ -

Torrent seemed proper cool. Said he got picked up by Kongregate when he was leaving. Now that Flash games are dead, can only hope he managed to continue climbing higher... Which one was it that attempted the milk challenge? -

So, by the looks, Satyr is still active on twitter... -

IT'S MAGUS. The thread that I think was moved to the archives or something from the mod boards? All the mods just posting images/gifs, back when regular users were always limited to text. Every VirtualSatyr thread. The Josh thread. Because Joshes are terrible. cowboyardee's storytime thread, mostly when I remember capt_taco's story of discovering a buddy jacking off in the bathroom while whistling the Imperial March. Less on the funny side, but I also often think back to threads like Kikyou: Good, Bad, or just Misunderstood? Back when anime discussion genuinely dissected and discussed things, before discussion threads turned into play-by-plays. Or GELLHA. Good, Evil, Life, Love, Hate, Anime. The anime discussion thread for babblers too good to take it to OA (and also kinda a general no-topic chat thread thinly disguised with a broad subject). -

I have paired this reunion bit with a rewatching of G.I.T.S.

I get that same nostalgia rush with The Real Folk Blues after an episode of Cowboy Bebop. Just that sense of "what a perfect way to end the night. Or basically most of Trigun's soundtrack. Damn but does that slide guitar drag you right back to the past. -
It finally hit me what all the clips remind me of. This is The Legend of Zelda: Garry's Mod.

I was one of the few that kinda didn't really enjoy BotW all that much. Just didn't feel like what I expect from a Zelda game, having gutted the idea of dungeons and items and progression, etc. A fun open world game, I suppose. But lacking in what draws me to the franchise. From what little I've seen of this one, seems like they've continued in that direction. Probably a fun game. But looks more like slapping a "Zelda" skin over something that could've been its own thing.

HBO Max and Discovery set to formally merge to form - Max
rpgamer replied to Jman's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
"HBO" also carries a connotation of "premium content" from a brand/channel that was largely/historically known as a luxury extra content channel purchase outside of normal cable subscriptions. In other words: -

I really don't wanna be all, like, nostalgia goggle blinded or whatever (SGC2C was just a bit before my time besides), but honestly. Why was this just so much more... idk. Good stupid? Wholesome dumb? Wholedumb? It's just absolute nonsense, but somehow it still has more charm. -

Less about the stunt being pulled, more just that the new shows are fairly meh. And then, like, following up with Space Ghost, as a reminder of what they used to be? -

I guess it's ok for an [as] "prank." Kinda just reminding me why I don't really watch most [as] programs anymore..
