Are you suggesting that it's perfectly acceptable for a state, any state, to sue to revoke the votes of other states purely because they 'didn't vote for MY guy' ? That's not how voting works. Texas can sit and spin. They can also pay back every single person whose electricity bill went up from the various companies having to help dig their ass out of the cold last year when their perfectly awesome grid shit the bed. And if you are taking about the Penn republicans getting ahold of all the personal voter info they can in that state because they want to while not proving in the slightest that they have any intention of keeping that info safe from malicious use other than they 'promise' , I already know about that. Considering the republicans are all about refusing subpoenas when it's their info on the line, one would question why they are all about it now. Much like 45% of voters in Georgia are f-ed right now due to the antics of republicans screwing with people's ability to actually vote in that state. Also, someone used a golf course as a residence in order to mail-in vote in 2020. Sounds like whomping fraud to me. Why don't you cry about that? By all means, pass it on that I somehow gutted someone internally from 200 miles away. That should be a fun conversation.

That's a baby slide. The one we had growing up had at least 20 steps, there was no safety cage at the top, and you'd hit velocities that created a massive crater at the bottom. And the dirt from that hole? Evaporated upon impact. It was a massive little kid yeet machine.

Hey, did you hear that ND's AG Wayne Stenehjem dropped dead? He signed up happily with 16 other non-Texas states to support Texas in it's attempt to invalidate the votes of any state that didn't vote for the giant diaper baby. 1 down, 17 to go.

Getting pretty cluttered under that rug, huh.

I know, right? What happened? Where did it go? This is a mystery that has flummoxed the boards since 2010! Zeni is being creepy somewhere that isn't here because he couldn't stop being creepy once that new liver took. đŸ˜¬ I think his future goal is to get stabbed in that liver in a WalMart parking lot. -

I knew it was the UwP thing but the thread that brought that out was about Athena. So I focused on the Athena part. That UwP 'forced' an answer about something that she likely already knew the reasons why to but decided to make public is something that should honestly be left behind in that thread. Those who read it, read it. Those who didn't missed little. Now if people really needed a mystery, whatever happened to the hardcore alcoholics thread? -

The only thing that Pat can really do public-action-wise on the boards without my being able to see it is ban someone without my even seeing a notice. One moment that person is and the nest they isn't. I can still see the thread in question, it's about 6 spots down from this thread currently. I don't think bnmjy is banned from the discord so honestly they could have just asked in there and been done with things too. -

Short semi-sarcastic answer - it's already been done. See ' [ asmb ] '. Longer answer, it's been done in small form the past couple of years hosted by very specific entities with large audiences but a limited live existence. Dragon Con went fully virtual in 2020 with panels airing online according to a very specific schedule. Many other Cons did similar things both in 2020 and 2021 with varying degrees of success. [ adult swim ] had their virtual con that included links to merch. But an attempt at an actual Burning Man type of internet experience isn't very practical despite sounding like fun. The live Burning Man consists of things physically happening in the transitory now by a mass collective of different people from different places and merch [ or lack of it ] is entirely in the hands of the visitor right at that moment. Trying to get a bunch of people to contribute to something like that in the virtual world without a specific sponsor involved to hold things together would lend itself to bad actors fast.

rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen

Subway, you spend all this time, money and energy pretending you have so much 'new' that you need to 'invade' other commercials and activities to mention it all. Would it kill you to mention at least once that you've started using those weird paper straws? Give a little warning, those things are pulpy shit if they go into the drink for any length of time. I have frickin' metal reusable straws for this sort of thing, give me warning to bring my own if I want to sip on the walk home. -
Pat is frickin' busy right now and he's the one that has the keys to doing name changes because it requires account access that's far more delicate than changing someone's avatar or sig line when they are being a dingle. Further, if you need a vacation from the boards, you leave. There are no real doors around here keeping anyone from escaping. And the only way you'll be able to handle the stresses of asshats around here is to make that decision yourself to leave for a bit without requesting being locked out all the time. Make your own choices for yourself instead of basically getting banned when things flare up. You'll feel better because you'll be taking control of yourself and your internet presence instead of leaving it to a timer.

Why do parents always want other people to hold the baby
katt_goddess replied to Mix's topic in Free-For-All
Because forcing someone else to smell like a shitty wet diaper is the most passive-aggressive thing possible. Projectile puke is a bonus. -
It's always funny when it's exactly like that. 'This is full of ancient toxins! Some yutz will pay big money for me to ship it to them in the mail because that's totally not a stinkbomb-in-waiting or anything!' I have ancient Avon lotions still sealed in their bottles. I should e-bay them for the lols and try not to think about the types of rashes the buyer is actively seeking.

The only thing I can tell you for sure about those is that if you open any of them, you'll wish for death. Once upon a very long time, my siblings and I found some old unopened cans of Schmidt in the woods. Ancient cans. Cans with hunting dogs printed on them. We decided that playing hot potato with one would be a good idea. It didn't stay airborn safely for long, hit the ground just perfectly enough to get a single pin hole in it. Which erupted in a green mist that smelled like a thousand skunks in a sauna and caused kids to run screaming in all directions. 10/10 . Would probably do again.

I'm not sure but I'm guessing it's something very long, hard to pronounce and in Latin.

I would like to say that this was semi-intentional and not just because of the rush job to get something programmed into the feed as soon as it was finalized. With this promo, you don't know what's coming. And that's the point. Now you'll have the people going 'whoah, seriously? holy crap!' because they have more than the title in their head currently and those who just learned of it with the announcement seeing people freaking out about it.

Most dubbed anime airing currently is likely to have that sort of disclaimer attached to the start of things automatically as part of the package. That way, if it's being automatically applied to all the things, it'll also be included on new things where it definitely applies. For those that are aware it's an older show, the disclaimer is kinda funny. For those that aren't, it's a reminder that things are still kinda work-from-home with the dubbing so maybe don't cry if the newest thing doesn't get dubbed super immediately. It's a slow but steady process right now.

Hey now, we had double digits today. Granted it was -25. But the wind made it -40'F. Damn wind.

no family can live in the house next door for very long

Ah, I thought maybe people were doing massive changes that were pissing off the widow and she was haunting them out of the place because of it. Who could hate a sunroom for kitties? -

Sounds like a fun place actually. I've never had a problem with ghosts. But I wouldn't be going buck wild changing everything in a home if it doesn't need massive renovations right off the bat [ like if the plumbing and electrical is crap, then stuff would get worked on just because everything would need to get ripped open ] . -
jason demarco comments on 1/8 schedule

Tokyo Ghoul isn't a bad aim at all, especially if they are in need of new shows that already had a previous season's run on the block. It would still be a new show with a history, something that Netflux doesn't currently appear to have a hairy eye on, and it's 24 episodes so it's a decent length but that's the end of it. It would give them time to shore up whatever other things are still in the air without them necessarily having to do a sudden weird marathon in the middle of a month just to stretch things out. I wouldn't mind seeing :Re. I read the books, I like seeing how things are changed and how they stay the same in adaptations. Mob Psycho is also one I look forward to seeing return even though I can [ and still might ] binge it online. -

That's what I thought too but she is obsessed with it and her bedroom is a massive shrine to all things FNAF right now. I could have found something cool at the Con but the pumpkinhead decided to stay radio silent when I was asking for wish lists. It's like -30'F out with the wind. I'm still thawing out from the walk home and it's been an hour.
