We've never done any drugs. We have no intention to ever change that. But if for whatever reason We did, We've always figured heroin would be the way We'd go.

Not a fan of tots. We eat fries more often, but actually prefer rings.

Chemical Predetermination- an Exercise in Reductionism

You make no sense. If the whole of the universe is merely a well ordered ripple effect, how would knowledge of that process cause it to spontaneously unravel? Your conclusion is to fret over the very thing your premise denies. -
Dunno. Could be an actor from the 50's, or some author. But let's face it. It's probably Hornshire.

A cursory Google search actually indicates that it's John Russell. We don't see anything citing a source though, so you could very well be right.

Our bread and butter. The card itself is not spectacular. But the evil deck full of discards and unsummons We built around it was a joy forever.

A lot of the answer depends on what time scale you're looking at. To speak in broad terms, they are getting more complicated. By the sheer nature of having more buttons to press, there are typically more tools at your disposal, which may seem overwhelming, but ultimately results in more control over the situation which translates to actually being easier. In theory, at least. It requires, first, that the options developers make available to you aren't worthless, and second, that you be able to execute them. To the second point, the inputs required to perform actions have become much more generous in recent years, making the burden tend more towards simply knowing what to try rather than nailing precise timing windows- Street Fighter V is an egregious example of this. Difficulty is another matter entirely. It was trendy in some-what recent years with titles like Dark Souls and Super Meat Boy, but We feel like that is veering back towards the exception rather than the rule. And even so, those games were far and away more forgiving than classics like Battletoads and Mega Man.

But, in the end... it doesn't even matter.

Hmmm. Now We're really curious about that map of Disney antagonists. Mostly because We never want to step foot in a place that considers Mufasa the villain. Yes, that's Our takeaway from the article.

A few years back, We had a top that featured a weathered fleur-de-lis on top of a pair of mismatched, crossed swords. We always felt more scrappy when wearing it. Also We've been out of high school for a while, so things may have changed... but isn't the entirety of Hot Topic the skull and flames section?

Fun fact: The average human swallows seven and a half spiders per year while hallucinating.

One time. That We recall, at least. There may have been more. We needed a shower afterwards. Granted, that was due mostly to the fact that We could have used one before the whole ordeal began, and the natural progression of shower necessity over a twenty-four hour period. But still...

Wrong. Those words are, in fact, pronounced those ways. By a great enough amount of people to get you complaining about it, at least. Presumably, what you actually meant to say is that it is incorrect to pronounce those words in that manner. But that's not what you said. And it is extremely hypocritical of you to employ a "you know what I meant" argument while admonishing others' use of language. The thing about language is that the rules for it are not prescribed by any sort of authoritative body. They are dictated by common use, in aggregate. A dictionary is much more like a newspaper than an instruction manual. Furthermore, a good deal of pronunciation variety is due to regional dialects. Regional dialects are not incorrect, and they are not inferior.

Please. As if you could be rid of Us with such little effort.

You go ahead and do that. We'll just sit here and listen with the same amount of caring that We always do.

1970s Willy Wonka or 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?
Hornshire replied to Danger_Jules's topic in Free-For-All
Wilder's depiction was a much more likable character. Doesn't make it better, though. We read somewhere that Depp took inspiration from Michael Jackson to get a creepy, unrelatable, children-loving vibe. And We think he pulled that off rather well. The subplot with Wonka's father being a dentist in the remake was awful. The new interpretation of the oompa-loompas was somewhat distracting, like it never felt like it was part of the same movie. The original certainly has the same "and now we cut to the singing midgets" routine, it just feels like it belongs more, to Us at least. We liked the adults in the original more. They seemed less like cartoon characters. That may be largely due to the fact that We haven't seen the original since becoming an adult ourself, and had a completely different perspective of how grown-ups behave. There's a lot about the remake that We don't remember, having only seen it once. We remember feeling like it was a generally good movie, with some flaws here and there, and there were things it actually did better than the original... We just don't recall what those were. It was far and away closer to the book, which is nice and all, but really doesn't have any bearing on being a good movie. -
It doesn't occur with any regularity, but We indulge the whim whenever We are so inclined.

We like to think of it like sliders on a radio. Except instead of bass/treble it's male/female. Gay men and straight women have a high male setting, and a low female, while lesbians and straight men have the reverse. Bi people would have high of both, pan would be really high both, and asexual people would be both quite low. The sliders never move though, for a given individual. But what range they're focusing on may. That's how fluidity would work. Notions of everyone being anything in particular are typically oversimplifications that either neglect meaningful difference or else are far too trite to have any deeper meaning.

Ah. Apologies for misunderstanding. We retract Our previous statement. Your joke is bad, and you should feel bad.

Essentially a holodeck. Preprogrammed with the entire history (using the word loosely) of the universe. The whole universe, not just Earth. Mostly, We would just want to observe, but it would also be nice to have the occasional conversation with some of the more notable personalities of the past. And indeed, some of the less notable, as well. We suppose We would also like to see how the immediate future unfolds, and what scant few impacts we left.

Girls are whoring themselves out on Fiverr to play Overwatch with you

Not every girl is your mom, hon. -
That's a decent joke. You kinda suck at telling it, though.

Might? Pffft. How would making a decision based solely on a person's sex suggest you were sexist in any way? It's not like that's the exact fucking definition of it, or anything. -

Gives heal-slut a whole new meaning. First We've ever heard of Fiverr, it's a novel concept, but there are clearly some quirks. A cursory, and not at all scientific, search seems to suggest that it's more common for males to offer this particular "service" of playing games with you. Also this exists: https://www.fiverr.com/wyrdewyn/go-outside-and-play-with-my-dog?funnel=3cebfe7b-1199-479d-a40d-87ea686f38d0
