We'll resist. But We really want to do it.
-
Not really. Why? Did it feel wrong?

I make the best threads, but the SJW here is too strong

We were ref... Actually, never mind. You're short. You must be used to things going over your head. -

Hard to see what doesn't exist. -
Not surprising. We kinda figured you wouldn't know what to do with one. No worries though, We'll collect another.

Eh... It's been a while since Our culting days and that ended in a right bloody mess. To be fair though, it started out pretty bloody from the get-go.

We differ, without begging to. If gorillas can learn sign language and intelligible orange jello can learn electoral college victory, then certainly Packard has the potential. Whether he will actualize it is another matter entirely, dependent mostly upon his own willingness and tenacity, which We will not comment upon further at the moment. Because while granting some basic dignity on the occasion he's not explicitly being an obtuse tool may do little to increase the odds he decides that expanding his knowledge is a good thing, being a relentless dick will do far less. Could-have-been's are distractions from could-still-be's. It's never too late to learn a new skill. Whether any given skill can materialize into meaningful opportunities in your career at this juncture is uncertain. Maybe unlikely, maybe not, We couldn't say. But perhaps it can enhance a hobby, or perhaps it will have useful applications in everyday life, or perhaps it just gives a little more breadth to your perspective of the universe; knowledge for its own sake is nothing to scoff at.

We have a fundamental predisposition to reject dichotomy. We don't even know how to begin dealing with monochotomy. (Good thing you went with lemons instead of corn.)

Megachurches are a lot of work. Maybe start with a kilochurch and work your way up? Also, We recommend finding a doctrine that doesn't sap all the fun out of fanaticism.

Peas are the grapes of the vegetable world.
Hornshire replied to SwimModSponges's topic in Free-For-All
Why are grapes not the grapes of the vegetable world? Semi-rhetorical, you can answer if you like, but more to the point, you're the one making a claim; the burden of proof lies on you. -
Not necessarily. We're much more concerned with maturity itself, as opposed to an arbitrary number like age. But Our larger point is that you only get to die once, so We're going to be very picky about which hill We do that on.

We like to imagine We have standards and integrity. We know full well that should We ever be forced to chose between those and survival, We'd take survival every time. We hope it doesn't come to that, but do what you've gotta do.

Growing up, none of Our family's vehicles had integrated cup holders. We always had those plastic ones you insert in the windows; that's still what We think of when someone says cup holder.

This reminds Us of that other thread you made. You know, the one where you imagined you did something good, but reality was not so.

In Our mind, he's classified as villain. Granted, applying simple labels to complex concepts is messy as a general rule, and the varying continuity of comics makes this specific categorization all the more hazy. In some arcs he is clearly an anti-hero figure, and in others he is not at all, so a lot of it depends on which sources an individual will give priority when constructing the character in one's head. We tend not to contest people's opinion on the matter if their reasoning is even remotely sound. A lot of people, though, like to use the term anti-hero only because they're uncomfortable with liking a villain. Like, We've seen it applied to Loki for fuck's sake.

Yeah. Some things don't need their own day. May as well have a national breathing air day. Or a national go about your business as usual day.

Oh, was that today? We celebrated it early last Tuesday, We guess. And the Thursday before that. And like six times last month.
-
Tch. We always forget that forever is nowhere near as long as We think it is.
-
We thought there was a term for, something to do with a train-wreck, but neither Google nor Our memory banks are coming up with it.

Always has been. Always will be.
