This is the last job related rant or post I'll make I get no one really cares anyway.. It just feels inherently like the wrong thing to do to decline a job offer and especially one I initially applied for and accepted, but I made my reservations known fairly early I think. The hiring manager still seemed to try to convince me to give it a try even though I brought up the fact that I just didn't feel prepared for the traveling, and unreinbursed personal expenses involved in this door to door insurance gig. What else could I do though except let them know I no longer felt I could do it in good conscience, and try to be professional about it? I mean I didn't tell them about all the negative aspects I found out only after accepting like the fact the contract I signed gives them full control over the earnings I get when I do sell a policy, and if a customer cancels I heard they try to make you pay them back.. The negative reviews I've read online regarding the field it's self not JUST the company were pretty scary.. but since it's the hiring manager's job in a way to argue all that is fair, and reasonable I only said that after much consideration I just don't feel this type of work is right for me and I don't think I'm in the right position to be traveling 4 days a week staying in random hotels with zero promise of reinbursement.

Same. It doesn't really affect me when I do drink it as much as it does some people though.

I havent had that happen.. at least recently. It wouldn't surprise me if it's happening because you pissed someone off.

I've heard that's what brake checks are for. I'll use my command voice.. Jokes aside I can see the kids being the hardest the part of the job.

Me too, but only because the places trying to hire me this time around arent your normal 9 to 5's.. All I have to say on the topic of marijuana is it'd be really great if I could smoke it right now legally.

That's what my parents had to say anyway.. I mean I guess I would say my interview went well though I guess, but probably only because no one wants to be a school bus driver. It's all part time, and the company here only pays 12.50 an hour starting. I've heard a lot of people say the position is more for retired people or people that are already set up with some kind of other pay though. Anyone here have any thoughts or experience in this matter? One perk is you at least get a class B CDL out of it. I think that's the main reason I applied..

I haven't made any of that since I worked at a family restaurant here.. I've never made stuff like that from scratch at home, but mostly because I'm too lazy to want to probably so I know what the op's getting at.

I need to get back to work.. I'm used to making exercise routines around whatever job I'm working, and apparently i've been gaining wieght since I've been spending most of my productive energy filling out apps, and doing interviews and what not. I do know it's best to get in shape sooner rather than later the way the human body is.. From what I understand the fatter you get the harder it is to loose weight, and keep it off due to the way fat is stored.

I've never had a dog get a cut on this part of their nose so it's just kind of awkward. It's not even that bad of a cut I think..He probably brushed it against the head of the loose nail I found trying to get at those dogs.

I have an interview for a part time position driving school buses tomorrow lol..

It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, but it's on on the black part of his snout.. My dogs just got visited by two loose dogs while they were hanging out in my back yard, and I'm not sure if he got the cut from the nail I pulled off of the gate or one of them got his nose since he stuck it out there trying to fight them.. It's not bad, I just hope it doesn't scar, and I'm definitely not taking him to the vet for this..

Eh.. The only reason the U.S. hasn't seen complete legalization is due to it making the government more money as an illegal substance if you ask me.. Especially since it's still on that same schedule I talked about.. Law enforcement gets to recieve the same pat on the back for busting an illegal marijuana grower as it does busting fucking Heisenberg for selling meth if you ask me.

Even then Halo just doesn't do it for me.. It never has, and never will probably. Atleast when it comes to online/multiplayer stuff. It's the same with most FPS games though for me.
