I don't just want to be a fucking rapper I already said that.. Since you don't make vocals at all it might be hard to understand, but I grew up in a music background.. That's not all I'm even trying to do is rap. I'm actually about to continue a 'rap' project just involving me providing vocals, and it always pisses me off. I can't cut and splice sections of shit together if it's not my beat, out of respect, and I'm probably going to have to be responsible for everything involving me turning it into a song... I don't even explicitly edit rap channels or freaking take part in the whole rap scene.. Last thing I took part in was a live stream hiphop beat, but before that it was a fucking satirical comedy video.

You are thinking way too small for what I have in mind, and your genre doesn't even require a lot of the components and editing capacity I was referring to. I just still have some work to do before I actually am able to make a business out of my music, and be satisfied with it. I get plenty of people telling me just to go with what I have, but like I said it's not enough for me. I could easily spend at least half a grand on some stuff just to have the same tools a lot of low end producers in my genre use like nothing to write a simple section of one of their beats. It's a building endeavor honestly, and without the proper foundation it's pretty stupid to try to build a fan base for it. That being said you are right.. I have all the tools I need to 'dub' over a base hiphop track, and rap.. Those arent hard to get though.

Even with that said just editing, and moderating other peoples channels has given me insight into the stuff I have yet to employ regarding my genre of music, and more. It's also much of the reason I don't make my own base tracks to add vocals to yet at this point.

I don't have any cameras, and I havent invested in one yet.. A home studio.. especially if it is even worthy of being called one by my standards requires things WAY more expensive than I can yet invest in to be complete. I don't know how twitch works, but I'm currently slowing my pace to allow for much more respectable content to be made. I don't just want to be a music channel on a lot of VIDEO platforms anyway. I want it to be a proper combination of music vids, and cinematic skits etc. I have a plan honestly. It requires a higher monthly income than just video editing/blogging or sharing my music to social media is ever going to get if you ask me so I don't stress it.

Also I think the last thing I did was compile twitch livestream footage into a video to be uploaded onto youtube if that makes sense. Doesn't pay the bills by any means though..

Like we've talked about I still have a lot of things I can't employ from my own studio that I want employed in my individual work.. I am still unemployed atm which due to the nature of my last employer job security was pretty much explicitly made clear to be a nonexistent thing.. I made good money, but I'm also going solo on a home/home studio venture.. meh. I always have things in the works regardless.

I have took part in a few livestreams I think were twitch.. My job was just to be there if they have audio problems, and help with moderating the chats though idk. I've never streamed video to it myself that being said, but I've been paid even for helping.. One of the people I know has a gold play button I think from youtube, and just went back to twitch because he was tired of getting demonetized.

Just give them 20% of your paycheck and call it a day. I'm being sarcastic, but making tipping customary, with wages often adjusted to account for it is bullshit if you ask me. tip for good service or as a show of thanks, or don't tip at all.. It doesn't really matter.

Nobody likes their shoes stepped on, and everyone has triggers. That being said I'll gladly self-identify as an asshole, but only because it's pretty easy to get called one just looking at things objectively. One of my triggers is easily triggered people. It's a curse.

I miss that too.. I was never into vinyl as a kid, but the older I get the more I'm intrigued by it. I still have no means of playing or working with vinyl tracks though.

I'm still not sure how that warning sign/light is supposed to work even though the uploader tried to explain it with captions.. The warning light is green when a lot of those trucks hit it.. and that seems misleading.. Is it supposed to turn red? Whatever that bridge is hungry lol.
