  1. Nah those are Texan pigeons on vacation. Mind ya business.
  2. Those pigeons are way too skinny to be Vegas pigeons.

  4. Our holiday party at work was last night. Was not expecting it to be so extravagant. Had to work the whole time but I was just carving so it was super easy. Saw a few people get absolutely hammered. Kudos to them for getting that drunk, at work, in front of all their coworkers and bosses.
  5. I watch a lot of YouTube in my down time, but I'd like to see Recommendations you all might have for channels. This isn't for me, specifically, but just a general recommendation thread for channels people might find interesting. I'll link a few and include a channel synopsis for anyone that might want to check these various channels out. These guys have been around for awhile, and have multiple channels, (notably Corridor). This is an off-shoot channel that I actually like better than the main one. It has a lot of interesting videos regarding film making, special effects, and stunt work. Some of my favorite shows they do are: VFX Artists React (To Good and Bad CGI): Various members of Corridor, and often other VFX artists that work in the industry give input on good and bad effects and usually break down how things were done, be it correctly or incorrectly. R-Rated and Fixing Bad CGI: Occasionally, the team will edit in some new effects to more family friendly movies to make them more violent (i.e. Home Alone, Star Wars, Avengers) or they will outright try to fix bad CGI, like the Scorpion King in the Mummy Returns. Stunmen React: Same as VFX Artists React, but with Hollywood stuntmen breaking down good and bad stunts. Channel link: https://www.youtube.com/user/samandniko Chris Broad (from England but living in Japan) and his often eccentric friends travel Japan, showcasing culture, cuisine, and everything in between. There are tons of vloggers in Japan, but most of them have pretty bad pacing and editing which result in 30+ minute videos of someone shuffling around a mall or down a street, showing fuckall. Abroad in Japan has great pacing and editing compared to its contemporaries, which is why it's my go-to channel for these sort of vlog/POV shows of people living or traveling in Japan. He will on occasion do a little series or set of shows, but for the most part he just publishes new videos without much rhyme or reason. However, his Journey Across Japan show is a good place to start, otherwise I'd say just dive into his popular videos. Chris is often joined by a friend during the videos, but two common guests are his friends Natsuki and Ryotoro, both interesting people in their own respective rights, but always entertaining to watch. So if you wanna see a well-edited, properly paced, vlog of Japan in English, I highly recommend this one. Channel link: https://www.youtube.com/user/cmbroad44 Boasting a massive collection of nearly 1,800 martial arts movies, all free to watch, this channel showcases some of the best (and worst) kung-fu movies ever made. They upload constantly and there's no end to choices here.I don't have much else to say, so here's an excerpt from their channel description: The WU stands for Warriors Unite The Tang is the flavor The Collection is the connection... From the mountains of China, to the streets of New York, The Wu Tang Collection brings the best, rarest, and finest in Asian Action Cinema, Martial Arts and beyond. Channel link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUpbgPbDccjoB9PxI-nI7oA Ann Reardon generally does baking or baking-related videos and comes up with some pretty crazy and creative stuff. Definitely a good channel to check out if you are interested in baking or sculpting/making art with food. She also has a little series she does exposing some of those gif recipes or recipe channels, and I adore her for that. I've been saying for a long time that a lot of those gif recipes are either bad, misleading or outright dangerous. But Ann actually does the recipe along with the gif or channel and shows how it would actually turn out. Alternatively, she often includes how they likely faked their recipes and will sometimes provide a legitimate replacement or link to one. Channel link: https://www.youtube.com/user/howtocookthat
  6. It's from a movie called Mirai Ninja (or Cyber Ninja in the US). NAMCO made a game based off of it (and co-produced the movie itself). The director, Keita Amemiya, who also designed the characters, went on to make stuff like Kamen Rider and Zeiram, designing many of the characters for both, as well. Just a genuinely neat movie, imo. Some cool rotoscoping in lieu of special effects, awesome character designs, and interesting story decisions for the finale. If I'm being honest, I was laughing at how stupid it was when I started watching it but as the movie progressed I noticed genuine effort and really grew to admire the whole production. I mean it was jarring going from samurai with gunswords vs putty patrol Thriller zombies and giant, Japanese house-mechs to the big showdown between a warrior trapped in the body of a mechanical ninja with a soul sword fighting the resurrected body of the evil lieutenant that is now possessed by his ethereal, but demonic lord.
  7. No no, mine are more the type of rats that I let run around my bathroom while I do my makeup in the morning. But instead of playing they all try to dogpile on my right foot and play king of the hill. So I'm standing there, trying to my eyeliner and one of them has a death grip on my foot and is screaming bloody murder because his brother is also trying to sit on my foot.
  8. My icon is from an 80s ninja movie I think is cool as fuck but pretty much no one else agrees with me or has even seen it.
  9. The neck balls.
  10. Me shielding my rats from this thread:
  11. His brother is the Templeton of the group.
  12. Proud to say my state is one of those, too.
  13. I had a few drink combos I didn't expect to like. I had raspberry lemonade and pumpkin rum and it was delicious. Also had strawberry soju and coke (without yogurt) and its amazing. Admittedly, I spike the coke with soju versus a more traditional mix.
  14. Easy solution: you two go together to both dinners as a couple.
  15. And here's the Halohub picture I made for the video:
  16. This is mostly for the people tagged, but regardless, this is my first, real Halo 2 video. (And it only took 15 years after the game came out!) @DBZ4ever @molarbear @inhumanrampager
  17. Honestly I just get myself a little treat, like an ICEE or something. And then I brood while I enjoy my prize.
  18. Tbh I don't really eat there unless I have said coupons. Some absurdly cheap meal bundles on those coupon sheets. I was fond of the angry whooper, though.
  19. That's my secret, Cap: I only go for the candy corn. But no, seriously, for some reason people forget about drug stores like Walgreens so I can easily waltz over in the next couple days and get whatever I want.
