rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen
[classic swim] replied to mthor's topic in General Discussion
Neo Ultra Mike singlehandedly ruined “I will say” for me. It’d always be followed by the most unintelligible fucking non points that would take up the entire page. Good debate, Carl Sagan. Hope he gets stuck in an Iron Lung so maybe he’ll stop fucking following me in places he’s not welcome. -

What Are You Thinking About Right Now?

Did some childhood revisiting. Of all the gentrification and places that have gone to shit, my Blockbuster’s still in the exact same condition as when it closed down. Could still tell it was Blockbuster and I’m satisfied. -

More Adult Swim Anime Spinoffs?
[classic swim] replied to Mr. Idea Box's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
^ This was funny in 2004. The younglings watching Smiling Friends want the South Park bit. The people making the show don’t want the 2467th crack at the South Park bit. Maybe there’s one guy who wants a Rick body pillow to ejaculate warmly against, but I think whoever’s watching R&M for most part is going “ now this shouldn’t be anime!” -
More Adult Swim Anime Spinoffs?

Nothing else is going on. I’ve surpassed their demographic either way. I don’t have to root for it to fail or anything but it still kind of sucks. Admitting to pursue exploiting a very bland formula depending on an already faded R&M fad isn’t exactly good creative motivation. -

Emulation is what’s going to save these games. I’d love to keep parading physical over digital but greedy people are ruining it for everyone. On top of the systems just being old. I’ll only be sad when my PS2 Phat dies after 25 years.

Mine’s just about done. The battery got real fucky the other day. I don’t wanna buy a replacement that’ll be twice of what I spent in the first place but I don’t know otherwise. Chinatown Wars is the only game that even requires the Select button (broken button) so profusely. VCS on the PS2 is also a stupid fortune.

GTA 1 or Race’n’Chase I do like how easily free and accessible it is on desktop. Just too bad there’s no mobile component.

Also lol cannot believe I missed this but then again big fucking wall. Scoob’s my friend. He’s someone I love greatly. I wince at this folder but you know I participate in all the others just fine because I don’t hyperventilate on this shit. Thanks for taking an inside joke seriously though. Well done.

It doesn’t fully matter to me if people like me or not. If I’m an asshole I’ll just be blunt and say it. He doesn’t need his own thread and him wanting to be treated like a fucking messiah and guru of Japanese cartooning is just plain nasty to me on a level of self respect. He might pay to have threads like these made but he’s not a god. I appreciate you implying that my word could possibly matter because in his odd manboyish world only his word matters.
