chicken curry. I heard ethnic places make food spicier for natives, so I had my Indian friend place the order for me, speaking Hindi. It did seem a bit spicier, not so much so.

My friend got her master's degree. Her mother from India was supposed to come to the ceremony, but she didn't want to risk being detained at the airport. Thanks Trump. Anyway, I bought her a small gift.

I subscribed to The New Yorker and got a free 100th anniversay tote of decent quality. I cancelled after a month, and I only paid 4 dollars total. I didn't have enough time to read it, even though I enjoyed it. Oh well, free tote. 🙃

Started blasting the Pointer Sisters when he heard their song in the newest GTA 6 trailer.

That would be cool and meta but they removed all of the interactive content. I liked to occasionally play the trivia games. I guess Common People kind of touched on this subject of enshittification.

Tried tteokbokki for the first time today, that stuff the main guy in Squid Games was eating with his daughter. It was tasty, and I liked the texture, but it was actually spicy for me. I also ate Korean black bean noodles and kim chi and washed it down with oolong tea.

Shoyu ramen from the bougie mall. I was actually impressed. Last time I had ramen from a ramen bar in the US it was . . . well, shit.

GTA 6 should release on July 4, 2026. It would be very fitting for the 250th anniversary of the country.

Mochi is cooked. I like it, even the boring original kind. My favorite would be sakura mochi. Not for everyone, sure.
