I'm annoyed at how the media is infantalizing public opinion of the murder. Everyone knows murder is bad, and it's of course preferable to avoid violence, but don't act as if the system currently isn't working as it's designed, to protect the interests and wealth of the elite. The French and Russian Revolutions effectively used violence to oust the elites after all. This incident has proven there is a thirst for actual left wing populism, and Democrats can seize this opportunity. I know not to get too hopeful, but this whole incident has made realize there is gonna be quite a bit of disillusionment with Trump. He'll manage to still pull the wool over the eyes over the genuinely stupid of course, but contrary to popular belief I don't think they make up the majority of his electorate.

Well, at least this is a huge step up from your normal shit.

2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences
Insipid replied to NewBluntsworth's topic in Current Events
I let my American passport expire . . . but when I need to travel, yes I have two. I just don't have the financial means and have certain obligations right now. Plus, Okinawa, where my family is, may be placed under martial law for who knows how long if China invades Taiwan, as that's where the majority of American naval bases are located. Supposedly, Trump is inviting Xi Jinping to inauguration. 😩 -
2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences

I haven't thought about retirement. I never worked in Japan, so I don't believe I am eligible for their version of social security. Neither the US or Japan technically recognizes dual citizenship. However, I was born into a loophole, and both citizenships are my birthright. I was never naturalized like a foreigner immigrating to America would be. So being in this position, of course I'm gonna keep my dual citizenship status for the rest of my life. Retiring in Japan seems like a nice idea, to be honest. I dunno yet. Really, the main benefit is the power of Japanese citizenship, if I ever want to immigrate to another country. America has quite a few adversaries these days. -

I wanted to rub in his face my dual citizenship status so badly . . . but we were all in shock, so I behaved. -
I think it shows journalistic integrity, something that seems to be undervalued in today's world of highly personalized algorithms and shit. Trump with his megalomania can interpret it however he wants. I do believe he represents the current state of the world, for the worst of course.

It doesn't mean they think he's the best person of the year, just the most influential. Literally Hitler was once person of the year.

Life insurance, apparently I wrote a short fanfic here where she worked in health insurance. I'm not posting it.

fuggs was interested in the incel ideology and she worked in insurance, lawl

I don't. Luigi had an active social life and probably had lots of sex. Just cause his back issues hindered his ability to sexually perform does not mean he is an incel.
-
What does this have anything to do with incel ideology? I don't think he killed a CEO because women weren't giving him sex.
-
They heard a retired weirdo was committing huge haram acts of creating loli porn using AI. Find him, Alhamdulillah.
-
I see Luigi was a "man of culture."

Luigi was in Pittsburgh before he went to Altoona. This is just my hunch, but I think he was after the UPMC CEO.
