One of those series that I find interesting but don't really like that much, I can see why people would but it's just not for me. The ending wasn't bad but some of those stories in the middle lost me, especially that amusement park one =/

I'm glad Antonio left the Steelers, let's keep it one rapist per team please NFL. -
I'm all for streaming anime legally if I can but some of it is just not worth the price to buy, for $60 an 11 episode series should really come with a handy and a Royale with cheese.

Because he spent the past five years playing for garbage teams I forgot what an absolute monster DeSean Jackson is, the Eagles would've lost by three scores today if he didn't play. People think hes just a hothead with speed, but he's really a hothead with speed, pristine route running and the footwork of a ballerina, the dude is just such a pleasure to watch play wide out. -
No I don't recommend that since the rebuild movies tell a different story and offer little in terms of depth compared to the original series, the original series followed by the movie "End of Evangelion" is the best watch order imo

I understand that's their approach, but they show a lack of sense in their choices, Ito being adapted isn't anything new, we just had one in winter 2018 and it was horrible. The problem is that his style is firmly rooted in manga, go look at his work or an artist like Inio Asano and try to tell me it should be adapted to anime, sometimes things are better off left in their original medium.

Yeah mileage with FLCL varies since so much of it is open to interpretation, I think it's fantastic but it's not for everyone. Definitely check out NGE when you get the chance, it's influenced all of these modern mecha/sci-fi works and just anime in general, but without getting too much into it because spoilers, watch it when you feel like you want to tackle some pretty heavy themes

Giannis needs to work on recognizing when his drive is being shut down and read his options faster, it's become such a serious issue even the FIBA coaches are picking up on it, Toronto has given everyone a pretty good blueprint on it. I think he will eventually figure it out but it's probably gonna take him a little time.

Well if you like Trigger's stuff (Darling in the Franxxx/SSSS Gridman) I highly recommend you check out Gainax works if you haven't seen them since that's the studio Trigger spawned from. Trigger has had some nice shows but I don't think they've quite reached the bar Gainax set with Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL 2000 and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

I thought we'd all learned that Junji Ito's style of writing doesn't transition to anime well, I guess Toonami didn't get the memo, but then again they didn't realize the original FLCL was perfect where it stood either. Probably gonna pass on this one unless I somehow hear overwhelmingly positive things about it.

I think it would be a little more useful to recommend you stuff it you specified what you liked more than what you didn't or what you've just seen. Since you seemed to enjoy the Fate series I'd recommend the Kara no Kyoukai film series, it's in the same universe as Fate, follows similar rules to it's magic, has a similar tone and I think it's better than any of the Fate adaptations other than Fate/Zero.

isn't it weird how there are hundreds of animes today...

I feel like there's a lot more variety today whereas the series that held more impacting weight on me aired at least 10-20 years ago, it's a double-edged sword, anime is becoming a lot more mainstream which tends to include a lot more pandering to a broader audience. There's still some great recent stuff it just takes a more selective approach. -
Lemme guess, the Valtrex is sold seperately.

Soccer fans make football fans seem mild mannered, but you're right, I think it just applies to all sports fans. Let's not forget the Raptors fans cheering Durant's ACL injury in the finals, classless bunch of alcohol infused children the lot of em. -
Sounds better already.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure the guy who bought the tickets is the LS for the Jags so no points to Indy at all 😂 -
Yeah it is, it seems pretty well received by the people that have seen it but I guess it didn't have any commercial success. The Irish guy has great timing his stand-up is pretty good and the other guy went on to co-create the I.T. Crowd which was also fantastic.

I love this show, rarely see it mentioned.

A Place Further Than the Universe. All the stuff on your to-watch list is pretty good (except Guilty Crown imo) but I'd recommend Haibane Renmei the most of those listed.

So about halfway through the season my top 5 is 1. Vinland Saga- Head and shoulders above the pack, even the anime original material has been mostly on point. 2. Dr. Stone- Pretty interesting but I feel like we're only scratching the surface 3. Fire Force- Awesome animation, last episode had some great action scenes 4. O Maidens in Your Savage Season- Quirky but mostly charming with some decent characters 5. Given- Came for the music, stayed for the characters and pace. Pretty sure Vinland Saga is gonna be by anime of 2019 and probably one of my all-time favorites barring some unforeseen dip in quality, really hope it garners enough interest to get a season 2 and go further than the prologue.

I remember the arc where Brian got Isekai'd to dog heaven.

The Amazon Prime version of Macross was so shitty and spotty it was unwatchable, like it was recorded off an old VCR or something.

Who really gives a shit about any of these scrubs now that they have Anthony Davis.

I think it's good because they were looking to ship Chris Paul anyway and probably got more than they expected to. Let me be clear, I love Chris Paul, he's an old school point guard that spreads the ball around and it's a pleasure to watch, but he's getting long in the tooth and the main reason it was a good move is because the guy is perpetually injured, he has a big contract to eat for how many games he misses. As far as Westbrook and Harden being successful together I think it's a toss up but it's definitely not going to win come playoff time, these two players put up huge numbers but really are the most overrated players in the game. We've seen enough to know Harden's iso style of play doesn't hold up in the playoffs as well and Westbrook is just a bad point guard imo, phenominal athletecism and defense but really bad at running point. Westbrook does a few things with the ball; midrange jumper, drive and score and drive and dish. This is going to benefit Capella just as it did Steven Adams in OKC but pretty much no one else. Harden will get his touches in for sure but no one is going to get the ball on this team except these three players and the only reason Paul George had success with Westbrook is because his defense gets him automatically involved in the offense so on a Westbrook team to have success you can either be another guard that holds the ball a lot, a center that gets inside, or be such a good two way player that it doesn't matter....the rest of the team are wallflowers.
