A couple of Hot Pockets

I bumped into an old friend today. The kind of old friend I ghosted about a year ago because I just couldn’t handle his almost-psychotic bullshit. We didn’t speak to each other, though. Just a quick wave from a distance. I should probably put this weird mood to bed early tonight.

Today marks 3 years since I lost my mom. It’s also my nephew’s 7th birthday. This is just an all-around uncomfortable situation I’m not sure how to deal with. I guess I’ll just put my smile mask on and power through, because that’s what people expect.
