If Nick Foles gets the Eagles through the NFC championship and wins the Superbowl I'd be mighty impressed.
Foles is good, but he isn't quite as mobile as Wentz and he doesn't have quite the arm accuracy at distance that Wentz has, which means that the stretch offense that Philly relies on to score a lot of points really quick won't quite be there. After 14 games of that, moving back to a more incremental offense in a week is going to be difficult, and the games they are playing now can determine home field, which they will almost assuredly need. I'm not dismissing them entirely, but I think the NFC just became a lot more open to teams like the Saints, Vikings and even the Falcons, who can all go on the road and win.
Next year though, if Wentz is back to full, Eagles are going to be scary next level good.
