McCarthy Speaker & GOP House Majority Drama
Ginguy replied to Master-Debater131's topic in Current Events
I don't really care about pencil-neck, he promoted a stupid debunked conspiracy theory and no serious person gives him any credence. What is odd is this notion that somehow, according to Democrats, you can be on the House Intelligence committee if you feng feng a Chinese spy. -

Oh, so a Russian destroyer with nuclear capable hypersonic missiles suddenly changed course in the Atlantic to start heading towards the Eastern seaboard. Sure that has nothing to do with the tanks being sent over....
-
So, hey, they found even more documents. This time it was DoJ people, not lawyers without clearances. Still no raid or photos though....
-
So, now we are up to 4 different locations.... Let not your heart be troubled, Biden's aides and lawyers (who don't have clearances but that totally doesn't constitute gross mishandling) have totally been looking to make sure that there aren't any more places.

2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences
Ginguy replied to NewBluntsworth's topic in Current Events
*le sigh* There were 3 States, Az, Ga, and Nv, which were in play and could have benefited from the money spent instead on saving Murkowski. That seat, the Ak seat, was always going to be GOP. The only difference was if it was Murkowski, who would vote for Old Crow, or Tsubaka, who probably wouldn't. The spending of the money on that Ak race instead of one or more of the competitive races is the issue. Old Crow wasn't protecting members or GOP seats, he was protecting his position as leader. He traded a potential, (a strong one at that) of a Majority for his leadership seat in a minority. That isn't looking out for your members, who lose chairs and majorities on important committees. -
So, when will we see photos of all the classified documents laid out on the floors of the three different locations where Biden illegally stored them?

Elon Musk now owns Twitter, apparently trying to run it into the ground

Multiple DNC officials and ranking Reps including pencil-neck Adam Schiff pressured Twitter to remove anti-Biden memes. Pfizer, the NIH, and CDC pressured Twitter/Facebook to censor information about effective treatments for the Wuhan virus, resulting in untold thousands of deaths. -

Fixed that for ya. -
DoJ has just named Robert Hur as a special counsel to investigate Biden mishandling classified documents by leaving them in an office paid for by the CCP and other locations.

Wildacrd picks are up. Games will be played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Games are worth 5 pts each. Scores have been updated. No one got the GOAT or LOL bonus pick correct. First time that has happened I think. The Regular Season GOAT was a tie between the Eagles and the Chiefs at 14-3. The Regular Season LOL was Da Bears at 3-14 The Texans ended the season at 3-13-, avoiding the LOL thanks to the Colts Defense not understanding the concept of keeping the other team OUT of the endzone. -

2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences

I would point out that Old Crow Mitch spent more money on saving Murkowski in Alaska from a Republican than he did on the candidates that he was publicly trashing, all of whom have races that were within grasp. -

Pfizer execs pressured Twitter to censor information/discourse regarding their vaccine; which totally isn't causing sudden death among young healthy people.... -

So, turns out that the GEC was pulling a slacktivist/leftoid grift on Twitter, the old "Do what we say or there will be stink pieces showing up about you in Politico and other co-conspirator media sites." Same grift that BLM/Rainbow Push Coalition/NAN run. Shameful honestly. -

Democrats have no issues retaining the Senate as long as Mitch is still around in leadership. -
McCarthy Speaker & GOP House Majority Drama

Heh This is a combination of two factors; some Reps actually wanting to make meaningful reforms and others getting revenge for being sabotaged in their re-election/election campaigns by McCarthy. Kevin should have knocked that crap off, with more GOP reps in, his margin would have been easier to get, in terms of concessions he would have to make for votes. Instead we get a front row seat to a real circus. The problem of course is that there is a debt ceiling limit approaching fast, so the stakes of the chicken game are getting a bit higher.
