I think the secret is that Gaga is an actual performer, she seems to live for live, and it is different than being good in the studio. That is why Gaga can generally tour and count on making a profit even if she doesn't have the strongest album to back her up. You know you will get a show worth the ticket price, and you kind of want to go to see just what she is going to do as much as listen to her sing. Personally, I'm not much for the feathers and meat bikinis; I'd be much happier if she was all Jessica Rabbit dressed and singing torch songs while some guy plays a piano and I can sip on a short glass of Bombay Sapphire.... I'd try to find a pic of TS, but eh. She got thick around the hips and legs I guess, could be a photoshop. Eh, I don't care, still think she needs to go back to country.

Gig in Vegas, you get a solid contract and I'm sure she can do pretty much whatever she wants to creatively. I don't blame her for taking the offer, and like I said, it is a great place for her to bring in people for duets and collaborations, which seem to be popular in music in general. She is talented enough to be able to work with just about anyone, so why not use her show as her own platform to show off and try something new. I actually wouldn't mind seeing her in Vegas, but I'm going to be very busy this year, so I probably won't have time to go. I have no interest in her either, but there was a bad photo of her on one of the grocery store rags so I figured I'd ask since you pay more attention to this kind of thing than I do.

Lady Gaga.... I made it about 1:40 into the song before I was all, "Damn, I dunno bout this." I hope she gets other awesome Vegas crooners to do random duets with her though, that would be pretty sweet if Tony Bennett just randomly popped in, or Neil Diamond or whichever of Sinatra's illegitimate children happen to be in town. Great potential there for some kind of impromptu awesome to be born. Not really on topic, but what the hell, is Taylor Swift pregnant or did she just decide to not care, cause she is a grenade now.....

I just kinda rolled with my picks on week 17. I'm more curious to see if the Browns complete the epic fail and go 0-17. If it was anyone else, I'd say it was a sure thing, but the Steelers have this bad habit of playing down to their opponents.... If the Jets actually beat the Pats I'm gonna be disappointed, but I'm sure Brady and Bellicheat are not going to let themselves be embarrassed again. The Eagles should be able to win and claim sole ownership of the GOAT, but it is the Cowpies, and the Cowpies have a nasty habit of being end of season spoilers. If it comes down to a kicking game, then the Eagles should be fine though.
