there's not a whole lot to do outside in cedar rapids anyways, so this plan is best plan. and yes, 100% country boy.

it depends on which service they're using, but in some cases yes. burger king was happy to offer it because a little income is better than no income, and they can probably do enough volume to make up the difference. they're also a lot more profitable than a family-owned or local restaurant, so taking a % off the top doesn't affect them as adversely as a local joint. this photo made the rounds back in april, after grubhub ran a "free delivery" promotion that ended up costing a chicago food truck owner over 20% of his sales revenue for the month. on top of the 20% commission they take, plus delivery charges and processing fees.

fuckin beer distributors. i'm holding tap lines open for your dumb asses, and you can't get a truck over here? we were supposed to get our order last tuesday, a full week ago. promised delivery again thursday. then friday. then no later than today. and again today, no delivery. people are gonna be disappointed that we stopped carrying those breweries you deliver. hopefully those breweries drop you as their distributor, so we can get their beers again in the future. because i'm not spending another dime with your dumb asses.
