Charlie Brown wears his yellow shirt as everyday and sports attire. Sometimes his shirt was orange, but I only recall that in the comic strip and not any of the cartoons.

I don't think anyone was waiting for season one though. Even when it was announced, I expected it to be crap. I'm glad I gave it a chance and watched it.
