Realistically, how much money would you need to live debt free and comfortably?

$31,000. That's about what I owe the hospital for the three times I took up residence there. I have a few other debts, but they're significantly smaller and will be paid off easily in the coming weeks and months.

 

After that, I'm good. I could afford a decent apartment after a bit of saving, and not have to worry about collectors breaking down my door.

Sex is overrated and doesn't have to be the number one priority.  Lives and ambitions have way more than one variety.  I'm just getting all the work done now so I won't have to do any of it later.
