They completely changed the game’s story, as Hollywood is known for doing. I definitely can’t call this a good movie, but I guess it was a passable (and forgettable) way to spend an hour and 40 minutes.

I’m watching this with my nephews right now and it has got to be the single most annoying movie I’ve ever seen in my life. It would probably help if I knew the game at all, but I feel like that wouldn’t even matter.

Been awhile since I've posted in here, so... it's a lot.

Batman Ninja vs Yakuza league 8/10 (I didn't like the first Batman Ninja at all really, but loved the Yakuza versions of the DC characters they came up with.)
The Day the Earth Blew Up 9/10 (Daffy and Porky are such a great duo. Also, I agree wholeheartedly with the alien about what Earth's greatest resource is.)

Death of a Unicorn 8/10
Minecraft movie 8/10 (Jack Black being Jack Black and bringing the fun. Movie's crazy, but still enjoyed it even though I've never played the game.)
Snow White live-action 3/10 (Yeah, Gal Gadot should not sing again. Like ever. This movie was just a bad choice to do in live-action.)
Lilo & Stich live-action 5/10 (Didn't like the changes to the characters and story, but Stitch at least brought some entertainment value to it.)
How to Train Your Dragon live-action 9/10 (If you are going to do a live-action remake, this is way to do it. Stay true to the original. If it ain't broke, no need to try and fix it.)
Flow 8/10 (Loved the animation style. With there being no dialogue though, and the pacing being so slow, I'm not gonna lie I had a hard time staying awake through the whole thing. Still great animated film and definitely worth a watch.)
Ballerina 7/10 (I'm still kind of John Wicked out, but there was enough new ways they found to kill people in this that I still found it pretty entertaining.)
Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires 9/10 (Making history entertaining. Pretty cool idea and way to keep the Batman character kind of fresh and interesting.)
Superman 8/10 (Superman + James Gunn = Win. Krypto definitely stole the show for me though. Also, was great to see the Mister Terrific character come to the big screen.)
Fantastic Four First Steps 8/10 (Not my favorite Marvel super hero group, but best movie version of it to date for sure.)
Nobody 2 6/10

The Running Man remake 5/10
Predator Badlands 9/10 (This was I think my favorite action movie of the year.)

The extended anime sequence looks a little out of place since it was done later (Production I.G. did it for spec in the late '00s and wasn't included in KB:TWBA prints until now) but it's still awesome.

This has got to be the most low-budget, dumbest movies I've ever seen, so of course I couldn't stop laughing throughout pretty much the whole thing. Just one of those cases I think of where it's so bad it's good somehow.

The Naked Gun (2025) 3/10

I loved the original, but other than what I thought were a few good gags in this, most of the jokes fell pretty flat for me. Also, Neeson came off as way too stiff and serious the way he played the part I thought. I think my real gripe though is just they made the Drebin character in this seem way more competent and badass than he ever was in the original. What made Leslie Nielsen's version so funny I thought was how much of a bumbling idiot he was and that he still managed to succeed somehow despite that.

Black Christmas (2019 version)

W-what…in the blue hell did I just subject myself to? I’ve seen the first two versions of this movie, and they were kind of dumb, but still somewhat entertaining. This one was…90 minutes of uncomfortable social commentary with very little plot and a few random supernatural elements thrown in for absolutely no reason. I seriously need a lobotomy now…

Avatar Fire and Ash 9/10

Felt a tad derivative of the first movie, but still pretty incredible. Not too hard to see where the story will likely go after this. Kind of wonder if they'll be able to film 4 and 5 together like they did with parts 2 and 3. Guess it still depends on what kind of legs this one has at the box office.

Avatar Fire and Ash: 8/10.

Another visually gorgeous but narratively simple entry in the Dances with Smurfs franchise that has the courage to tell people the space elves can be wrong, and often are.  Still, it's the real Avatar now that Airbender is confined to streaming.

Fuck, never judge something just because it’s a Ron Howard production.

Ridiculously funny and everything I’d want in a GTA movie. It’s so rare lately to find a film where all the characters are endearing enough to carry a story.
